Dear Louie~
I started thinking about you, so I decided to write you a letter. I was also bored, so I had nothing better to do. *Grins*
I hope all went well with your recent back surgery. I am doing fairly well; I had an attack of lupus that left me feeling horrid, and I still don't feel all that right. I have had lupus since I was in my twenties, and it comes and goes. I have been in a lot of pain, and the sunlight really aggravates the symptoms of my disease. When it is cloudy, I seem to do better; why, I have no clue, but this is how it works for me. Bob and the kids are well; but he has had to play "Mr. Mom" lately because of my being sick with my flares.
How are your kids and your husband? Are you back to work now, or are you still at home? How has your husband and kids been dealing with your recovery? I hope and pray that they have been a big help to you! I loved the picture of the Inutpiat women in parkas that you put on your last letter; it makes me feel as though you are writing from Alaska instead of from Tennessee! I laughed when I read about the mosquitoes; but do you know we have mosquitoes here in Alaska? We do, and in the summer, they can get really vicious! So you aren't immune from the pests even this far north! They are really bad by the water; which is why whenever we go camping in the summer, we take plenty of anti-itch cream and mosquito repellent! LOL
It is coolish here, highs in the 30's, lows in the mid-to-upper teens at night. We have seen some nice auroral displays already; aurora borealis season is now underway in earnest. I hope you get to see some auroras soon down there; I always enjoy them!
How did your little girl, Ronee', do on her tv show? I hope she did well; you will have to let me know just how she did. Now, what show was it that she was on? I will have to look for it one day when I am watching tv! I trust she is back now?...I bet she is glad it is overwith and done; she sounded quite nervous, from your description!
Your little dog sounds cute. I love Pomeranians, but my husband doesn't because when he was a little boy, one bit him on the foot, and he still hasn't gotten over the trauma. He is now scared to death of dogs, big, little, mid-size..it doesn't matter...dogs terrify him! LOL That is why we have cats here! If I told Bob that I want a dog to watch over things here, I know he'd get mad! But I DO want a Pomeranian; they are so adorable, and they may be little dogs, but they sure have big courage! And they have such sweet, expressive little faces! I can't help but go ga-ga whenever I see a Pomeranian!
That is exciting about your new children to be from Sri Lanka! I hope they come soon, and if they are, I bet you are all getting excited! When are they due in America, and when will they be joining your family? I still say you are crazy, with already having fifty kids, and you are adding two more; but I have to hand it to you: you sure have a lot of compassion and love in your hearts, and you are a wonderful looking family! And the kids seem to be flourishing so well under your direction and guidance! We need more families like yours in the world today!
Well, Louie, I will go now. I have to take some pain pills, I am starting to hurt again. *OW* Stupid lupus erythematosus! GRRR!! I HATE it! God bless, and hope you had a nice Easter Sunday! We did, we went to church, and then we had a major Easter egg hunt. The kids had a ball, and so did we!

this is nice---karen are you aware that you repeatphrases a lot? For example in graph 1 you write about hoping the person is recovering from surgery, and you do it again in the opening of the next paragaph. Have you ever thought of using the next paragraph to enhance the first one. You might wish someone well aftersurgery in the first graph and then ask if they're getting around okay in the second, for example
