Dear Louie~
Thank you so much for writing back to me and answering my questions about Maine Coon cats! It is very much appreciated, and I must say that the picture of the kitty you put on your letter was absolutely "purr"fect! What a pretty kitty "Cajun" is! She looks so soft and friendly, and I am sure she has a very loud purr! I am so dumb when it comes to cats excepting for Siamese, Russian Blues, Persians, and the like! Now when it comes to DOGS, on the other hand, I am something of a dog expert; ask me anything about dogs, and I can probably tell you something about them! LOL
The weather has finally cleared; thank you so much for sharing some of your Tennessee sunshine with us! We have had so much rain it's a wonder we aren't underwater (although some yards and streets WERE due to all the excess rain we have had as of late!). I hope the weather is nice there in Nashville!
I am glad the kids are fine, but I was sorry to hear of your daughter Ronee' 's health woes. Exactly what do you mean by "she is trying to flare"? It sounds like she is turning into a Roman candle or something! LOL But whatever IS wrong with her, it doesn't sound like it is any fun for her! I hope she is feeling much better by the time you get this; please let me know as to how she is doing! My boys are growing like weeds: every day they are discovering something new, and their vocabulary increases by the day. They are very smart and active boys, and it takes a lot of ingenuity and know-how to keep them occupied for several hours while Mama (ME!) has a well-deserved break! LOL
Wasn't that sad about the Pope dying yesterday? I was thinking about him all day, and when I had heard that he had passed, I started crying. I loved that man; he was a man of gentleness, courage, and grace, and he taught the world how to live in peace and harmony, and he brought people together. I saw him when he came to Miami, and I got to shake his hand; what a very kind and quiet man! But that was when I was married, and now I will never see him ever again. My heart beraks at the news, and there will never be another pope quite like him! I think you are Catholic; that was why I made reference to the Pope. I am definitely Catholic; born and raised, still involved in the church and attending Mass every Sunday!
Isn't it about time your two little children you adopted from Sri Lanka should be arriving soon? If so, when are they coming? I bet you are excited! I know I would be if I were you; that is a very wonderful thing you are doing: taking in and raising children who are deemed "unadoptable" by society's standards and giving them the love, family, and home they probably have never had! I don't know how you can raise kids with such heartbreaking physical (or mental) disabilities; but it is very obvious just from the brief time we have "met" (through emails) just how much your kids are loved and are so well cared for. God bless you; the world needs more caring, compassionate people like you, the Sanduskys!
I was so sorry to learn of your friend Diane Aguilar's troubles. She sure has been through so much, hasn't she? I will light a candle when I go to Mass next Sunday, and I will say a rosary for her. But I am glad to know your other friends are doing well; my, but you sure do have a lot of friends all over the world! What countries or states do your email contacts come from? I'd love to know!
I hope and trust you had a nice Easter (and also Palm Sunday). We didn't do much, just hang around the house and dyed Easter eggs and watched Erick and Evan pig out on Easter treats (but then Erick got sick in the middle of the night and made a huge mess out of the bed; my, what a stink! It was disgusting!). He was a very sick little boy, and he had a very painful tummy the next day; he gorged himself full! He ate over half of his Easter treats! My, I have never seen a kid eat so much like my Erick! LOL I am happy to say he is over his upset tummy, but now he won't touch candy ever since! I think he burned himself out on candy! LOL How did the Cantata go? I bet it was nice!
Well, dear Louie, I will go now; nothing much is going on. I will let you go; have to feed the boys their dinner and then get them in the tub and get them ready for bed. Obviously, I didn't go to evening mass tonight. (I did go to morning Mass, but I didn't sleep too well last night; darn old heel spurs are acting up again!) Take care and may God bless you always!
(((HUGS))) and love, your Florida buddy, B.J. Ciagalore. :)
