I hope this finds you in better spirits; I have been praying for the health of your father and also peace of mind and comfort for you, his children. I am sorry your father isn't doing well; it is always so hard when somebody you love is so sick; but I am happy that you spend time with him. I know it isn't easy, but this should prove to be beneficial for both his health and well being!
I thank you for your last letter; I am getting better (and stronger) by the day, and it won't be too much longer before I am off the walker or the cane! I also should be returning to my full-time work schedule by the summer, and I am really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things!
I know I just wrote to you, but I was thinking of you, so I decided to write to you again. I also wanted to let you konw that we have our two children from Sri Lanka now with us, and they are absolutely beautiful! Little Arjun Ravi is but a year old, and hs is such a healthy, chubby, adorable little guy! And his older sister, Rani: she is so tiny and delicate, and she is awfully shy, but I am sure that once she gets used to being with us and gets used to learning more in the way of English, her true personality will emerge, and she should prove to be a delight as well. They came on Saturday, safe and sound, and we have delighted in every moment that we have spent with them so far! It seems hard to believe, but now we have *52* amazing children in our family; God has certainly blessed us in a very big way!!
Speaking of children, in just four days, Johnny and Barbara will be coming your way; I bet you can't wait to see Johnny again, and I bet you are equally excited at getting to meet Barbara! They are excited too, and they are looking forward to meeting your family as well! Just take good care of them is all I ask! I know I shall miss them most terribly when they are gone!! I know I will cry buckets of tears when I leave them at the airport!! But I know they will be in good, capable hands, and I know you will enjoy them!
I also wanted to let you know that Ronee' was in the hospital due to another arthritis flare; but she is now back home and is feeling somewhat better. She still is in a lot of pain, but she does feel much better, and she is glad to be back home, where she belongs. Frankly, so are we. She came home Saturday afternoon while we were at the airport, picking up Rani and Arjun; Steffi, who was off work that day, picked up Ronee' from the hospital. Ronee' was in for about a week; she was in for a total of five days. Hopefully this will be the last of her hospital stays for a very long time to come!
The weather here is partly cloudy; we may get some storms later on, thanks to a cold front. It is also supposed to get very windy here, too. Wondermous. I hate high winds! My hair always looks a fright whenever high winds hit! LOL I also hate the thought of severe storms; it is that time of year now, you know! We had some wild weather move in last weekend, which started all this mess with Ronee' 's flaring, and she barely made it to church for the Cantata!
How was your Easter? What did you do for Easter? I bet it was quiet; and I bet it is hard to find eggs in the snow! LOL Did you go to church, or did you just stay home? Ours was okay, but it would have been better hadn't Ronee' gotten sick with her flare!
I know this isn't much, but as I said earlier, I just wrote to you, and I wanted to let you know that our children from Sri Lanka got here, and I also wanted to thank you for the cd's and the books. They came the other day, and I know I shall enjoy them! Your thoughtfulness is very much appreciated!
