Louisiana is happy to hear from her friend in California, Kendra Mae Williams, but she is dismayed to hear that her other California friend, Louisa Mason, is not doing well in regards to her health.

What a beautiful little girl you have there in that picture! What is her name, and when is she coming?? She is absolutely precious! And a Living little Miracle Child for sure! I am so happy for you; I hope and pray that the adoption goes through, and I pray and hope that you continue to do well with YOUR health!
I was so sorry to learn of Louisa Mason's health problems! It sounds serious! What exactly is going on with her? Is it related to her muscular dystrophy, or is it something completely different? We have been praying hard for her at Christ Community Assembly of God Church! We have been praying hard for you too!
How are the girls doing? Our kids are all well; but Ronee' was recently in the hospital. She was in for five days last week; she just got out about a week ago this coming Saturday, the day we went to the airport to get Arjun and Rani. She had an arthritis flare; but she is feeling much better, and she is now back at school, where she is happy to be among her friends and her teacher! She got sick during the Cantata, but she stuck it out; but by Sunday night, she was in agony, and when I took her to see Dr. Emmons, he had her admitted to the hospital because she was suffering from a bad arthritis flare. Johnny is doing well; he and Barbara are getting ready to go on a trip for a week to Barrow, Alaska, where they will be staying with my friend, Sikik Eegeesiak (I STILL have trouble spelling her name! LOL). I know I will cry buckets when we take them to the airport and see them go through the gate! I know I will miss them both terribly; but I am sure that Sikik will take good care of Barbara and Johnny!
Oh, Kendra, you should see Arjun and Rani: they are both beautiful, and Arjun is a little cutie with his chubby arms and legs and Buddalike belly, and Rani is so delicate and tiny; she reminds me of Ronee' when she was about five; and she is just so pretty! She is walking on a walker and has leg braces on her legs; but doctors are hopeful that once she starts therapy here, she will fully recover, and she should no longer need the braces or the walker down the road! The little boy is shy, but at least he lets me change his diaper, feed him his food, or give him his bottle; as for Rani, she is incredibly shy, but I am sure that once she learns more in the way of English and gets used to her new surroundings and her new home, her true nature will soon emerge. I am sure that she is a very sweet little girl.
Now we have an incredible FIFTY-TWO Miracle Children, and I just can't believe how God has blessed us with these little (and now not-so-little) Miracles! They have all grown so much, and it kind of feels funny to have a baby in the house again! Our youngest is now five, and now we have a little baby in the brood, and we are having to get used to bottles, diapers, baby clothes, and cribs all over again! But it is something that I wouldn't trade for all the money in the world! And I know it won't be long before we can't imagine the family without little Arjun or Rani!
That was great that you got to meet Amy Grant and Vince Gill when they came to Sonora! We have met Vince Gill at Fan Fair (now called the CMA Music Festival; it is held every June for a week here in Nashville, and it draws thousands upon thousands of country music fans from all over the world; we have gone for just about every year!), but we haven't had the pleasure of meeting Amy Grant. I am sure she is as nice as is her husband; we love her music as well! I bet the kids were excited; I know I would be if I had been there! I was excited when I met Vince Gill; he is such a hottie! *BLUSHING* LOL (Just don't tell Bill I said this; he may end up DISOWNING me! LOL But Vince Gill IS cute! LOL) Who else have you met, in terms of famous stars?? We have met Loretta Lynn, Vince Gill, Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken, Diane DeGarmo, Dolly Parton, Roy Clark, Brenda Lee, Jerry Lewis, Mattie Stepanek, Ed McMahon, Arsenio Hall, Tiffany Evans, Naomi and Wynonna Judd, Ben Stein, Carol Liefer, and countless others, too many to mention.
How is the weather up there in Soulsbysville? Here it is partly cloudy; we had some storms last night, and while it boomed and bammed for a while, thank God nothing serious came our way. We did have a lot of heavy wind and rain, and quarter-sized hail; plus frequent lightning and booming thunder, but thankfully, no tornadic activity. But it has since passed, and the temps have cooled off quite nicely; almost to the point of being a bit chilly. Hope the weather is nice where you are at!
Have you heard from Naomi Cohen? How is Rebekkah doing since her discharge from the hospital? Ronee' has been wondering about her, and so has Johnny. Please tell Rebekkah that Johnny and Ronee' send her their hellos!
Wasn't that sad about the Pope dying? Such a shame; but maybe it is for the best; after all, he WAS up in years, and he WAS not in the best of health. But I am sure whoever is next elected to be the pope, he won't be able to fill John Paul II's shoes; he was one of a kind, as he touched people of ALL faiths and races, and he taught his message of peace and hope very effectively! The world has indeed lost a very good man in Pope John Paul II; he will be very much missed for a very long time to come! And Peter Jennings, the NBC newscaster saying he has lung cancer, and the recent passing of Terri Schiavo...my, what goings-on in the world today; God help us all...
Please be praying for Jenna Aurora Doucet and her husband, Michael, my friends in Anchorage, Alaska: Michael's mother in Louisiana is in a coma; she suffered a stroke, and she isn't doing well. Michael left for Louisiana so he could be with his family; and Jenna and Michael are both very broken up about this. Also be praying for my Texas friend, Diane Aguilar, who lives in Del Rio: she has brain cancer, and she has had other health problems; and it has been very rough on her husband and the kids. I would appreciate it very much! Thanks! Also be praying for Sikik Eegeesiak: HER father is not well either, and he is in the hospital as well.
