Dear Journal~
Well, today was the Pope's funeral, but I only saw a little bit of it because I had to have my bath, eat and take my morning meds, and then go to physical therapy. But what I saw was sad, and I began to cry because the Pope was such a good man. He cared for people young and old, and even non-Catholics were touched by this man's mission for peace.
At school, the Pope's funeral was the topic for the day; but it only got me depressed, so I didn't talk much. I just sat there and tried to do my schoolwork as best as I could. I still am not feeling all that good; I just got out of the hospital on Saturday, and I am not quite myself just yet. I had another dangbusted flare; and I was in for five days. I am glad school is done for the week; I am TIRED!! *YAWN*
I also am tired because my new little sister, Rani, has kept me awake. She talks practically nonstop, and she hangs onto me like a leech; and I am getting tired of her following me around like a puppy! I know she is my new sister and all, and I should try to be patient with her, but she doesn't speak much in the way of English, and whenever she gets excited, she switches to Sri Lankan, and I don't know what in the heck she is saying! I also have been having problems sleeping because we now have a baby in our house, and when he cries, he wakes me up, and so I haven't been sleeping good this week. I am not used to having a baby in the house, and maman and daddy are busy with them, in addition to trying to care for the rest of us! I think we may need a nanny, just so's maman and daddy can catch a break from us kids...
I haven't heard from Rebekkah in a while; I wonder if she is mad at me or something...I hope not because I don't kow what I may have said or done to her to make her not write back to me...I also am sad because Louisa Mason, Kendra Williams' friend, is in the hospital, and she isn't doing that well. I hope she isn't dying! I don't kow what I would do if that were to happen! Maman has been all hush-hush about it, and whenever I try to ask her what is going on, she changes the subject, which really makes me mad! Kendra is well, though: they are getting ready to get their 14th girl, a girl from Sri Lanka, and they are all excited. I am just glad Kendra is well; for a while, she was having problems, but now she seems to be doing okay, thank goodness!
I also heard from some kids who heard of my being on tv, and they want me to send them an autographed picture. I will have to have maman get some made because the last pictures I had taken were last year, and they aren't that good (at least, I don't think so!). I have gotten a lot of mail as of late, and I am so darn far behind in answering, it isn't funny AT all!
I am kinda' mad at Johnny and Barbara because tomorrow they leave for Alaska, and I am like SOOOO JEALOUS! I konw jealousy is a sin, but I can't help it! I wish I could go too, but nooo...I wasn't invited, so I have to stay home. BOOO!! (They are going to see Sikik Eegeesiak; they are going to be there for a week. I hope they have a great time, but I am STILL upset that I am not going!!)
Well, the bus is here, so I gotta' scoot. I will write more later. Take care, and c ya later, alligator!
~Luv, your (sleepytime) friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. :0 (YAWNING HUGELY)
