Dear Louie~
Hey! Thanks so much for your newsy, informative letter; and thanks for putting the picture of the dolphins on the letter! I just love dolphins; they are so friendly, and they are among God's most gentlest creatures! I see them very regularly whenever we go to the beaches around the area, and my wife and kids love the dolphins, too.
I am glad you are on the mend, and that you will soon be off the walker and back brace. That is terrific news! I am also happy that you aren't in the crippling pain you had been in; you sure have had a time with your back, haven't you? My Minka may need knee surgery down the road: she saw her doctor, and he said that if she doesn't get her knees fixed soon, she could very well end up in a wheelchair, or at best, on a cane or crutches...I know you were on a cane (or ARE you?) and were using crutches prior to your surgery; so I am sure that Minka could sympathize with you. I have only been on crutches whenever I had a football injury, but I never stayed on them long; for one thing, I was too stubborn (still AM; ask Minka! LOL)!
I am happy Arjun and Rani are there; they sound like such charming children! You will have to send me a picture of them! I bet they are adorable, especially the baby, Arjun! Babies are always cute! How are the rest of your contigent taking in the new arrivals? How are your arrivals taking in their new brothers and sisters? I bet they are overwhelmed...I know I would be if I were to be in their shoes! LOL We are all well, I am happy to report, other than Minka's knees...the weather is nice too, sunny and bright, with temps in the upper 70's, and a nice breeze blowing. We finally got rid of the clouds and the rain, and I heard parts of Florida got socked with as much as ten inches PLUS of the wet stuff; but here, we escaped the heavy weather, thank goodness! I hope the weather is nice there in Tennessee!
I am glad that Ronee' is feeling much better, and I am also happy that Johnny and Barbara get to "get away from it all" for a week of fun in Alaska! That is too cool! LOL I hope they have a MARVELOUS time! I bet they are beyond excited! I am also happy that Ronee' did well on her show and that she is a budding young writer! Speaking of writing, you were asking what magazines my articles were in. Well, they were in some issues of some Florida-based magazines, and also I had a story in "Exceptional Parent Magazine"; but that is about it. Have you had any of YOUR stories or articles published in any magazines? If so, what magazines were they in? Thank you for the tips on how to handle rejection; I shall take them to heart and take your advice whenever I decide to write a book or article and hope for the best!
I heard from the grapevine that Louisa Mason is sick and is in the hospital. What is going on with her? You will have to let me know, so I can email her or her husband. I hope and pray it is nothing serious! How is Kendra Williams doing? I will write to her one of these days, but my own kids keep me busy! I just can't imagine what life must be like for families like Kendra's (or, for that matter, YOURS)! LOL It's hard enough for us with OUR brood! LOL
