Louie emails her friend in California upon learning that his wife, who is currently in the hospital, may be "with child". As you can imagine, she is tickled pink at the news.

*AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH*!! (Much screaming here LOL) Oh, mon Dieu, you have GOT to be kidding!! Your WIFE may be PREGNANT?? Oh, Jeff, that is AWESOME news!! I am soooo happy for you, and I am so happy that your wife may be home from the hospital in a few days! That is wonderful to know!!
I am afraid that I will never get pregnant again...for one thing, each time I did, I eventually lost a child, and I have been afraid to try again, for fear that I would, ultimately, lose yet another baby. Besides my three children that I birthed (but eventually lost), unbeknownst to a lot of people, I also had two miscarriages between Pierre Armand and L'Acadia Marie-Antoinette; so if I had carried my two miscarried children to full-term, I would have been a mama to five kids instead of to three..but then it ended up that I lost my three birth children as well. So this was why, once I got over the trauma and shock of the deaths of my kids, Bill and I turned to adoption (Bill was more into it than I was at first) because he knew how desperately that I wasnted a family of my own.
Maybe I will try yet one more time to get pregnant, but I really don't know...I have FIFTY-TWO CHILDREN now; why on EARTH would I want to subject myself to having MORE?? LOL I have GOT to be "touched in the head" to try to even THINK of getting pregnant! LOL Besides, I am not as young as I used to be (I AM approaching forty, you know; I AM in my mid thirties, plus I have health problems that may complicate matters), and Bill isn't exactly in the best shape either. So for now we will stick to the kids we have! LOL
Do your children know that mama may be "with child"? How are they taking it? I bet they are plumb tickled pink! I am so happy for you I feel like dancing (but I just had back surgery a few months ago, so I think I'll pass on that...LOL Besides, it is hard to dance while walking on a walker or wearing a cumbersome back brace! LOL I also may end up hurting myself, and I don't want to do that AT all! LOL) Oh, just wait until Christ Community Assembly of God hears this testimony; they are gonna' FLIP their LIDS! LOL This is a MAJOR Miracle; oh, God be thanked!! :) (Can you tell I am a bit excited?? LOL)
Please give your wife my love and prayers, and tell her to email me as soon as she gets out of the hospital! I want to hear all the gory details from HER first! LOL Tell her I hope she feels better soon, and tell her not to overdo and be careful! (I worry about her...LOL She's been sick for so long, so there's NO telling WHAT is up with her!)
That is neat that you and the kids got to meet Amy Grant and Vince Gill. I have met Vince before, on several occasions, but I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Amy Grant. Maybe one of these days we will; she seems to be a very nice person, and she is pretty and talented, too, besides! :) So Soulsbysville may be put on the map thanks to this event...GREAT stuff! :) As for the little girl who the benefit is for, I will be adding little Abby to my prayers, and I pray all goes well for her! She will be added to our prayer chain at CCA of G; and we will have the prayer warriors get on it! So little Abby will be COVERED by prayer!
Well, Chere', I will let you go. I will write again soon; take care, and give your babies a hug from us! We sure would love to meet you one day once your wife is up to traveling! You'd be more than welcome to come here to Tennessee! We will be more than happy to show you some of our "Southern Hospitality"..Nashville style! :) God bless you all mightily, and keep us informed, PLEASE!

This was such a happy write but I'm sad that you had trouble carrying a child to term. But be assured you have given birth to angels in heaven for once you conceive, even if you miscarry, that baby goes to heaven with the baptism of desire. Wonderful write, full of joy and happiness for your friend who is with child.
