Dear Louie~
Hai! Miita kuuluu? Kiitos hyvaas!
Thank you for your letter; it was so nice to hear from you again! I am so happy things are going well with you and your family! How are Arjun and Rani doing? Give them a hug from me in Finland, okay?? I would very much love to meet them!
I am having a better day today; I am still using my forearm crutches, but I feel stronger today, and my eyes are behaving themselves (for NOW, that is). But I still hurt from my fibromyalgia, and I am still arguing with my doctors about the pain I am in. They say I can't be in THAT much pain; but they don't know what I have to endure day after day! Some days the pain is so bad it feels like one of those large trucks are going over my body! And sometimes the pain is so bad it is all I can do to keep from crying!
I saw Ilsa at hospital today; she is in for chemo treatments, and they make her so sick. She is so nauseated it isn't funny, and she can't eat anything because each time she tries, she throws it back up. I feel so bad for her; I hate to see her like this!
Thank you for the prayers for Nikky and myself, and also for Ilsa. I told her you were praying for her, and she cried! She would really like to meet you; maybe next time I come to America, and if she is feeling better, we can bring Ilsa with us. Is that okay? Let me know!
Athena is out of rehab now, according to Nikky. She is living in apt. not far from rehab place, as she still has to go to therapy every week. She is slowly adjusting to life in a wheelchair, but she has her bad days, too, just like I have been having as of late. But I shall tell her you say hello, and she will be glad to know you asked about her. She asked me about you the last time we talked, and I told her that I would tell her you say hi the next time I write to you! So I just did! :) She is walking on crutches for short trips, but she mainly uses her wheelchair.
That is wonderful to know that Johnny and Barbara are in Alaska visiting your friend, Sikik! I hope they are having a great time! When are they due back, and how long were they in Alaska? Alaska sounds like a wonderful place, from what I have read from you so far! I would like to go there myself one day; maybe when we get some extra money and maybe when we are settled in our new place after our marriage; but that will be a while. I am getting ready to go to Greece; we leave next week, and I will be in Athens for the rest of the spring and summer; we will then return to Finland in the fall and be there until the start of aurora season, sometime in April or May.
I hear that Ronee' has been sick. How is she doing? Why was she sick? Did she have a flare, or did she have problems with her breathing? Tell her I hope she feels better soon, and give her a big hug from Nikky and myself!
I am glad the weather is clearing up there. Here it is rainy today; no chance of seeing aurora's dance tonight or tomorrow. Maybe by Sunday it will clear up; I sure hope so! The snows that fell the last time are about melted, and everything is just a muddy, yucky mess! I HATE rain!!
I will go for now; have to take my meds and then go to bed. It is late here in Ivalo; and I am getting sleepy. I will write more later, or until I hear from you. Take care, God bless, and until next time, Nakemiin!
(((HUGS))) and love, your Finnish friend, Sari Annike. :)
A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
