Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
I am worried about my mother...she wrote a letter to our friends in New York City, Franklin and M'Kaya Jefferson, only to realize that she has already emailed them the other day! LOL I think she is losing her marbles; please keep her in your prayers! She has been running back and forth, back and forth, like a cheetah whose rear has been set afire, and that is NOT easy to do when one is wearing a back brace, let alone, toolin' around on a WALKER! LOL She has been runnin' on all her pistons since getting up this morning, and she shows no signs of slowing down!
Thank you for your letter; I am feeling much better from my flare. I am soo happy that is overwith, flares are definitely NOT on my list of favorite things to have happen to me! LOL But I AM happy today 'cause I heard from you, and I am also happy 'cause Johnny and Barbara are coming home from Alaska TODAY, and after we get back from the airport, we are going out to eat and then to the GRAND OLE OPRY! :D I haven't been to the Grand Ole Opry since last February (of last year; Alan Jackson was there, and I opened for him!), and I am really looking forward to it!! Loretta Lynn is supposed to be there tonight, and I can't wait to see her again!! I just love her (or haven't you figured that out by now?? LOL)!! I am NOT singing at the Opry tonight, but I AM singing there next month; I will be singing with Jimmy C. Newman! :D
Next month is also the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, and I am performing there as well; I always have such a great time there! I love all the continuous Cajun music, and I LOVE piggin' out on all the crawfish! YUMMMMMMMMMMM!! I LUV crawfish!! :D (Darn! I just done made myself HONGRY again! LOL When will I EVER learn?? LOL)
THEN, after the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, we are going to the CMA Music Festival (formerly Fan Fair); we didn't go last year because we had some serious storm damage to our house, and we had to stay at a temporary shelter until our house was fixed. It was a scary and sad time; I am soo happy that is past us! I pray and hope we never have storms like that ever again; ONCE was MORE than enough!
I am happy that you are dancing and are keeping busy with church and synagogue. I have been busy with churchly doin's myself, and I have also been busy with school and trying to get caught up from having my stupid flare. Luckily, I didn't really miss that much, but still, I HATE it when I fall behind! Then I have to work TWICE as hard to get caught up with my classmates!
Well, I know this isn't much, but I can't seem to get my brain in gear; it's on "Opry Mode", and all I seem to be thinking about today is the Grand Ole Opry and seeing Loretta Lynn! I also am thinking of Johnny and Barbara and how I have missed them; when I see them today at the airport, I am going to give them both the biggest hug they have ever had in their LIVES! They had fun in Alaska, but I am sure that they are eager to get back home!! I know I am; it just isn't the same without Barbara or Johnny here!
