Hey! Thank you so much for your delightful email; I am so happy to know that you are doing well! I loved the picture of the children on your letter; are they some of yours? That one little girl on the bottom reminds me so much of Jodie! :) I remember her huge grins; seems to me that she was always smiling! Congratulations on the additions of Rani and Arjun to your family; I can't imagine you wanting to adopt more children after already adopting FIFTY, but I guess if you have enough love in your heart, than I say GO FOR IT! :) They sound adorable; you will have to send me a picture of them!
Glad the weather is settling down there; here it was beautiful and sunny all weekend, and it is still sunny today; and while this is on my mind, did you know that today is the Boston Marathon? I have run in the NYC Marathon, but haven't made it to Boston's yet. I am at work as I write this, it is break time, and since I have an hour to kill, I thought I would spend it emailing to you! M'Kaya and I are fine, and so is little Stefan. While I am at work, M'Kaya is with Stefan, and she has her friend, Carole, with her, in case she may need some extra help. Seems that she is having a lot of pain in her stump today (phantom pain), and her fibro is also acting up. She is wheelchairing it today.
I was sorry to learn that Ronee' was sick, but I am glad she is doing better. I hope to hear from her one day; I always enjoy her letters. Tell her to drop me a line! I was also happy to hear that Johnny and Barbara had a good time in Alaska, but Johnny doesn't sound too impressed with Barrow. I am sorry he was homesick; but I guess when one isn't used to a particular culture, that can be expected. That was like when I went to Africa a few years back: I met some of M'Kaya's African relatives, and let me tell you: it was a whole different world over there in Kenya! I will never forget our African Adventure as long as we shall live, but I am glad I don't live there! :) I feel sorry for those people over there: they are desperately poor, but they don't complain!
Congratulations are in order regarding your third book being accepted for publication! That is wonderful news! (Now does that mean that I get a free copy of your book, hmmmm? LOL) And tell Ronee' congratulations about her appearance on "America's Most Talented Kids"! Third place out of seven: not too shabby, if you ask me! Good for her! I will have to look for her appearance later on this summer! I watch the show sometimes if I am not too tired or not at church!
Thank you, Louie, for telling me about what is shakin' with M'Buti and Roberto. Sounds like their lives have really taken off, and it sounds like they have bitten off more than they can chew! SIX children now, and a set of twins and triplets in addition to Jubaki?? My, oh my, oh MY!! Glad to hear M'Buti's health has gotten better, and am so happy to hear that she is now working and is now driving! She has really come a long way!! I will be waiting to hear from them; tell them I will be expecting a letter from them! :)
How was the Grand Ole Opry? Who did you see? I hope you had a good time at the Opry! Man, I haven't been there in AGES, it seems like; it's too bad the Opry doesn't come here! LOL (Is that what they mean by "country in the city"? LOL) You will have to tell me about the Opry next time you write!
Well, Louie, I must go now; I have to get something to eat; I am hungry all of a sudden! If I want to eat, I'd better get something quick; this break has flown by! LOL Seems like I never have enough time to do anything! Time sure goes by quickly when one is having fun, hunh?? LOL
