I was so happy to have heard from you at long last; I was starting to think that you: a.) didn't care about me any more, or b.) you died...but obviously you did NOT die; why else would I get a letter from you?? LOL Thank you so much for writing; you are the same sweet, chatty woman I remember from the AASK picnic last summer!
MY, what a busy bee you have been! Raising your village LOL, taking care of your hubby AND your elderly father, writing books, working as a nurse...do you have any time to SLEEP?? LOL I don't know how you do it; you must be related to Superman or something! LOL I have been well; my children are well too, and they are all growing and thriving. Glad to know your brood has been doing well, and am so happy to hear that you have added to the family (WHY is what I'd like to know! LOL); your children from Sri Lanka sound absolutely aDORable!
The weather here has been patchy as of late: some days are pretty, but some aren't; we have had a round of storms go through here, and the last round damaged our garden; so we have had to replant everything (hail damage, also high winds). It's been a real joy...NOT! We also had some shingles fly off our roof, and my neighbor has been busy putting them back up. I hope the weather is a lot nicer (or calmer) up there in Nashville!
I was sorry to learn of the woman who lost her leg due to the spider bite and also the one who had the allergic reaction. I hope they recover; it is apparent just how much you truly DO care for your patients! The world needs more nurses, especially kind, caring, and compassionate nurses like yourself!
We are getting ready to add to our family ourselves: we put in to adopt a little boy, aged two, with Down's syndrome. He is from South America, and his name is Esteban, but we are going to call him Trevor. We will let you know down the road if we get accepted or not; please keep us Bergegeays in your prayers regarding this matter! Thanks!
Oops! Tiffany and Aurora are at it again; seems those two are ALWAYS fighting! It is about to drive Kenny and myself NUTS! I will have to go now before there is some bloodshed or tears...take care, and sorry for having to run off like this!
