Johnny writes in his journal. He is feeling a little better, but he is sad upon learning that his sister has to have hip replacement surgery next month.

Dear Journal~
I am doing a LITTLE better (not much, but I am not hurting so bad now unless I move wrong or sit too long; OW!), but my mood is still sour. I just found out that Ronee' has to have joint replacement surgery (hips) sometime next month, and neither she or I are none too happy about it. She will have to spend a good part of the summer recuperating, and I will have to try to entertain her (and myself) in the process.
As you can guess, this is Johnny with the broken butt. My butt still hurts, but I am no longer living on painkillers, and I can get up a LITTLE better; sitting down is still the hardest part, and I have to make sure I don't fall, or else I could reinjure my butt, and heaven knows, I DON'T want to do THAT! OWIE!
We went to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Fest last weekend, and it was good, but it was hard for me because I was in so much pain. We also celebrated Mother's Day yesterday; we took mama out to eat at the Golden Corral (it was NUTZ there!), and we gave her cards and flowers, and we also took her to a special Mother's Day celebration that was being held in downtown Nashville, and of course, mama cried. She is the world's best cryer; every little thing, good OR bad, and here she is, crying her face off! It's EMBARRASSING! I cry too, but mama takes it to a whole new level, and I sometimes wish she didn't have to cry so much! It's a miracle her insides haven't rusted solid, from the crying she's done! LOL
I haven't been doing much except trying to make sure I don't fall again and nursing my broken butt, and now I find out that my sister (Ronee') has to have hip surgery next month. I wasn't happy to hear about it, but she is having problems with her walking, and her hips hurt all the time now, so maybe it's for the best; I guess her hips are shot, so she has no choice in the matter. I also have been crying lately because Weds. mom and daddy leave for Greece, and they are going to Greece for a week; and I know I will cry buckets of tears when they leave! They are both excited, but I don't want them to go because Greece isn't exactly across the street, and what if something should happen while they were in Greece?? They are going to their friend Sari's wedding; Sari Gustaffssenn, who lives in Finland, is marrying her boyfriend, Nikolas Constantinos, and they are living in Greece for the summer; they will go back to Finland in the fall, and Sari and Nikolas will be in Finland during the fall, winter, and early spring.
Well, that is about all that is new; I know this isn't much, but hey, at least I wrote! I have to write to Rebekkah Cohen in California soon before she thinks that I dropped off the face of the earth! Gotta' go; bye for now!
