GAD! I just looked in my journal, and the last time I wrote was TWO days before my birthday! I am really bad when it comes to doing things like journaling...LOL
I was also getting over my umpteenth sinus infection...seems I am always having to blow my nose or try to unblock it somehow! GRRR!! I HATE spring and summertime; that is the worst time for my allergies and my stupid sinuses! But today I am actually okay; I can actually BREATHE and SMELL!! I am also playing "Miss BabySitter"; mom and dad went to Greece (they left yesterday), so granpy, gramy, and Steffi (as well as myself) are in charge of the brats until mom and dad return. :)
We were also waiting the arrival of Arjun and Rani into our family; and they are now here. They are both very cute, and they are quickly fitting into our family and Arjie and Rani are both learning English at an incredibly fast rate. Now, Arjun has nothing wrong with him, but Rani has developmental problems, and she is using a walker. She had a serious head injury, and she is now disabled, but she has been having therapy, and she is doing quite well. She is cute; she reminds me of Ronee' when she was younger, and it is kinda' freaky because it's like I am looking at Ronee' as a little kid all over again! :)
We went to the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival last weekend, and we had a ball; we heard many great Cajun music bands, and I pigged out until I thought I was going to split open! LOL I also saw Ronee' perform at the festival, and she did a great job; the people loved her, and she did a wonderful job at entertaining the crowd! Now next month, we are going to the CMA Music Festival here in Nashville (formerly called Fan Fair), and we always go to that. We always have fun there, too, and I am looking forward to it!
But I also have some sad news to report: Ronee' is facing joint replacement surgery, and Johnny is having a battery of tests next month, so natch, we are worried. Johnny is having tests because the docs want to see how his MD is progressing, and they want to make sure he is okay; but he has to have MRI's, EEG's, and EMG's, and I hear the latter (the EMG's) are PAINFUL! As for Ronee', her hips are shot, and she has been having more problems with her walking, so she has no choice in this. She will be in the hospital for maybe a week after the surgery, and then she will face a long recovery period. She is NOT looking forward to that; she was counting on having a fun-filled, active summer, and now she has to spend a good chunk of it recovering.
I also broke up with Trent; he and I got into it, and we both decided that it would be best that we'd not see each other for a while until things settle down. I have been depressed about that, but my family keeps me busy, and so I haven't really had a lot of time to think about Trent (maybe that is a GOOD thing??). Church also keeps me involved, and it seems that I am always doing SOMETHING!!
Well, I will write in here again soon; now you are up to date. I will write about my early life next time if I remember about it! Take care, Journal, and see you soon!
