Dear Journal~
Hi! This Jodie speaking! How you? I fine!
I got my new wheelchair, it's cool, really pretty. It's purple, and it nice! I also got new braces for legs, old braces pinch me, too small, so I get bigger ones. I am growing up, getting to be a big girl!
School almost over, soon it be summer. I am glad, I like going outside, playing with friends, family. I love swimming in pool on floatie thing, and I love being outside. I also love swinging on swings that they make for me, and I love going different places. So far we go to Louisiana for festival, and I have fun, heard much happy Cajun music, make me smile! I even dance in my wheelchair, and Michael, my brother, he take me out of wheelchair and hold me in his arms, and I laugh! I was scared he'd drop me, but he didn't. I was glad of that! He held me tight so I wouldn't fall.
Mama and daddy are not home, they far away in Greece. They went on airplane to see friends there. I miss them so much; but I have my older sisters to take care of me and the other kids, and also granpy and grammy. Mama and daddy will be back from Greece next week, I will be sooo happy to see them!!
Teacher says I doing good in school, but I already know that! :)
Still go to therapy, doctor's every week, have no say in this. I don't like therapy, but therapy helps me to sit up, hold my head up, and move better. But with CP you don't move good, I know I don't. Moving so hard for me. My brain tells my hand or leg to move, but when it does, it move wrong, and it look weird. My brain damaged at birth, this why I have CP and in wheelchair and can't talk well or move good. I also not walk or eat on own (I eat with tube in belly). But I still say I smart, I learning new things every day, and I am proud of me!
I still have good life, have many friends, get to get out and go places, go to school, church, even to zoo or festivals. I also go to amusement parks, ride some of the rides, really enjoy that! I also go swimming, go horseback riding (go to program for handicapped kids), and can write and tell people what I say with my head pointer. I can talk some, but not well enough like when I write.
Well, I go now. Have to have my lunch, also get diaper changed, made mess in it I think, ewwwww! Write you again soon! Bye!

Oh! In two months, I'll be 14!! I hope I get some new clothes and music cd's! I also want games for my computer!
