Like his sister, Ronee', Johnny is also bummed out about things that are going on in his life.
Friday the 13, 2005, May, 2005~

Dear Rebekkah~

I thank you for your letter; it was nice of you to write to me. But I am bummed out. I have to have tests next month, and I am NOT looking forward to them AT all. I have to see the specialists at the MD clinic, and I also have to have some tests done at the hospital (MRI, myelogram, electromyelogram, EEG--the brain wave thing--, a spinal tap, and other things), so I will probably be in the hospital a day or two for the testing. The doctors want to see how my muscular dystrophy is progressing, and they also want to see where I am at, and they want to see if they can help stop the progression of the disease somehow--IF they can. Please keep me in your prayers; I am really scared!

I also am upset because Ronee' needs joint replacement surgery, as I mentioned. But I didn't mention as to WHEN she will have her surgery. She will have her surgery on June 15, 2005, and like me, she is bummed about it as well because instead of having a summer of fun, she will be recovering from surgery. So we both aren't doing well.

I am also sad because I am missing my mom and dad, they went to Greece, so grandma and grandpa Moliere' (mom's parents) are watching over us kids, as are our older sisters Steffi and Barbara, and I really miss them. I hope they got to Greece okay; and I hope they have fun at Sari and Nikolas' wedding! (They will be home sometime next week, like next Tuesday or so.)

I also had a bad day at school: a kid tried to pick a fight with me, but Jose', my friend, told on the kid, and now the kid is mad at me because my friend narced on him. I hope the kid doesn't beat me up! I didn't fight back, but I still didn't like him calling me names or threatening me! And today is Friday the 13th: talk about your bad luck!! I am having it today for SURE!

I am glad you are okay, and I am glad you are back to dancing. I know dancing makes you happy. Well, baseball makes ME happy, but I won't be able to play part of our season this year because of these stupid tests, and also other things are going on, and I can't make it to the games. I will have to think of other ways to entertain myself; can you come over and keep me company?? I am BORED!! In fact, I am BEYOND bored!!

Have a nice day, Rebekkah, and God bless! That is cool you may get to go to Israel this July; I hope and pray that the angels protect your family while you are there! You know you will have to tell me about it once you get back!

~Love, your pal, Johnny. :(
