Johnny is still upset, but he is glad to have heard from his friend in California, Rebekkah Rachel Cohen. He is also mad because the weather has been stormy, and he can't go outside to play.

Dear Journal~
I am bored...in fact, I am BOREDER than bored...I am about to go stir crazy!!
The weather is really being a pain; it's been rainy for the past several hours, heavy rain with lots of lightning and booming thunder. Sometimes the thunder is so loud, it shakes the windows and the walls, and it scares me. It also freaks out my hearing-aids, and my hearing-aids squeal. It is NOT fun. There are flood watches out, and I hope it stops raining soon, or else our yard is going to look like a BAYOU!
I am also bummed out because of my stupid tests I have to have next month: I am due for a spinal tap, an MRI, a cat scan, a myelogram, a brain wave test, and an electromyogram. I will probably have to be in the hospital for a few days during this testing period, and I am not looking forward to them AT all. I am having these tests because the specialists at the muscular dystrophy clinic want to see how my stupid muscular dystrophy is doing, and I don't want to go, for fear it may be bad news.
But there IS but one bright spot in the midst of this doom and gloom: I heard from my California friend, Rebekkah Rachel Cohen, and she is doing well; she may be going to Israel sometime in July, and sometime this summer, she and her parents, David and Naomi, are coming to Tennessee to see us. Now, Ronee' has met Rebekkah and her parents before when SHE went to California for that show taping, but I have never met her (my family hasn't either), and we are looking forward to it very much. I got an email from her yesterday, and she sounded like she was in a really good mood. I will have to email her later...
Ronee' is also bummed out; she is still whining about her surgery, which she is having on June 15. I can't blame for her being unhappy, but I am getting tired of hearing about it! So that makes two of us who are bummed out. She is also missing mama and daddy (I am too, actually; they are in Greece, for a wedding, which is today; friends of mama's are getting married). I will be sooo happy when mama and daddy get back from Greece; I bet they are having a blast! It's just too bad I didn't get to go; maybe I need to go on another cruise....like to ALASKA!...but then I went to Alaska just last month, along with Barbara, but I wouldn't mind going back there! (We went to Alaska, to Barrow, where Barbara and myself stayed with another one of mama's friends. It was interesting, but I WAS homesick!)
Speaking of Alaska, I wonder how Jenna Aurora Doucet and her husband, Michael, are doing; maybe I am going to have to email them, to see what is new with them...I really like Jenna; she is cool, and she is pretty, too, besides!
Well, there's not much going on, so I am going to go. I am going to lie down for a while; am getting sleepy all of a sudden. Maybe I will write more later (like to Rebekkah or maybe even to Jenna and Michael)...or maybe I will play with my video games; today is a good day for doing that. Or maybe I will watch a movie...until later, this is Johnny saying bye for now!

This is a cute story. writing himself right out of them blues. Johnny can send that rain and thunder over here any ol' time he wants. 104* ~~~ need the cool rain. please!!!

Is this the story you wanted me to read? I wasn't sure because you mentioned a picture and this one doesn't have it. Nevertheless I was touched by these words and the realism struck home. So few think about what others go through. You have such sensitivity and your loving heart is clearly seen through your words.
