Dear Louisa!~
Wow, what a very nice (and FAST) response from you; glad you liked my letter! I love the picture of Kendra; she is looking terrific! Motherhood agrees with her, and I can tell that she is excited about her unborn baby within her! I hope nothing but the best for her!
I know that Ellen and Walter Jones aren't Christians yet, but God can move mountains and bring people to Him in ways that only He can understand. I am hopeful that they will "answer the call" and accept Christ as their Personal Saviour; after all, He did the same thing for US, and ever since, He has been blessing us in ways that I still find mind-boggling! I will lift them up in prayer, and I will lift all those who don't know Jesus as their Saviour up in prayer; I always do!
I will be enclosing Lightning's phone number and email addy on a seperate piece of paper; I am sure she would love to hear from you! You are so nice to want to write to her; she is really having a hard time lately, especially since she is so disabled herself, with cerebral palsy. She can't walk but for very short distances (and then it's on forearm crutches), and she is mainly in her wheelchair. She is prone to falling because her spine is twisted; it's been this way ever since she can remember when she was born back in Africa.
Sorry to hear that you lost YOUR home in a fire when YOU were small; but glad you got out okay and that nobody was killed or injured! That is one of my greatest fears: our home catching fire, and not being able to get out (or any of the more disabled kids out) in time. That would be a horrid way to die, if not from the burns, but the smoke inhalation itself! I pray nothing like that ever happens to you again (or to US!)! That had to have been so terrifying to y'all! Gosh almighty!
Well, Louisa, you take care. Sorry for this being so short, but I have to hook Jodie up to her "feeding", and it takes an hour for the formula to go from the IV bag to the tube in her stomach. I will write more tonight or sometime tomorrow if I am not too busy, or maybe even on Monday, when I get off work at two. God bless you always, and give your girls (((HUGS))) from me in Tennessee; and send them all my love!
