Hai! Miita kuuluu? Kiitos hyvaas! (Aren't you impressed? I am learning Finnish, and I owe it all to you! LOL) I am well; we got back to Nashville safe and sound (I wouldn't be writing to you if I didn't! LOL), but the trip was very long and quite tiring. I am still recovering from the trip; but I want to thank you, Nikolas, and Athena for your warm and gracious hospitality. We really had a wonderful time in Greece, and we would love to go back there again some day.
Thank you for writing; it was good to hear from you again. Glad you are hanging in there, but sorry your fibromyalgia and MS are acting up. Hopefully the flares won't last TOO long! Speaking of flares, my daughter, Ronee', IS going to have hip replacement surgery next month on the 15th, and she is naturally scared (as we are; that is major, big-time surgery!), but we are putting it at the foot of the Cross, and we are trusting in the Lord to get Ronee' (and us!) through it! We will let you know how she did; so stay tuned! As for Johnny, he is having tests, to see how far his muscular dystrophy has progressed (we are hoping for a miracle!); hopefully it is good news, but he still faces some pretty scary tests, and we are putting Johnny at the foot of the Cross as well. Be praying for both Johnny and Ronee', okay? Thanks!
Sari, that is too cool that you and Nikolas are going to Kenya and Tanzania for an African safari! Please have a safe trip to Africa, and take lots of pictures! Most of all, be CAREFUL, and have fun, fun, FUN!! You will have to tell us all about your African safari upon your return home from your honeymoon! How exciting!!
I am back at work; went back yesterday, and of course, everyone wanted to hear about my trip to Greece! They loved what I had picked up for them in Greece, and they were happy that I had such a good time! Of course, we have lots of new patients, so I was pretty busy yesterday, getting vitals and stuff, and putting all the necessary information in the system. It was a crazy, busy day, but it was sooooo nice to get back into the "swing of things"! (But I AM ready for another cruise! LOL I can get used to this vacation paradise! LOL)
Let's see...I write to B.J. Ciagalore and Eddie Greene from Florida, Coral Ridgeway from Maine, Anna Arnette-King and Ariadne Kopell from Alaska, Sikik Grace Eegeesiak and Jenna Aurora Doucet (also from Alaska), Diane Aguilar and Phoebe Pearson from Texas, Rosie Bercegeay from Louisiana, Kendra Williams, Naomi Cohen, and Louisa Mason from California, Greta Wagner from Arizona, Erin McConnell from Idaho, Walter and Ellen Jones from Indiana (be praying for them; they just lost their home in a fire last week; they were both unharmed, thank God, but they lost everything in the fire), Jenna Fiona Meadows from Kentucky, and my newest email buddy, Wyndi Storm Sieweyumptewa-Piestala from Arizona. Just about all of these people have adopted children or have kids, and they write to me with parental advice or questions pertaining to the adoption experience, and we share our adoption experiences with each other and listen to each other's problems and offer support and encouragement when somebody is having a rough time of it, whatever it may be. In addition, I write to you and Nikolas, so it seems my computer is always humming! LOL (Just as long as it doesn't go out, I'll be fine! LOL)
Well, honey, I must go; time to put the troops to bed...the kids have school tomorrow, and Johnny, Ronee', and Jodie have their weekly therapy appointments tomorrow, so I have to hit the sack too as we have to get up at the crack of dawn!
