Dear Louie~
Thank you for explaining about salvation and Christ dying for our sins. It sounds easy enough, but I am still very confused. You will have to enlighten me more on this; I still don't understand how one person can do such a thing to save mankind or how He could love us that much! It really doesn't make sense to me!
But I still appreciate your letter; thank you for writing. We are hanging in there--barely, but we ARE. I loved what you had to say, and I loved what you sent; that was very sweet of you to do that in our time of need! Yet I noticed one thing in your writing style: you tend to repeat a lot, and you are quite wordy. I don't know if people have told you that in regards to your writing, but your letters are very longwinded, and it's a strain on our peepers. Do you talk like you write? I am just curious! LOL I am surprised you got published, actually, because of your wordy nature! LOL
BUT...criticism aside, I really did enjoy your letter, and I appreciate what you sent. The food and the clothes will come in handy, and we can always enjoy a good read! I just wish we could repay you for doing this for us. We really don't know what to say, so we WILL say this: THANKS!
Well, this isn't much of a letter, but I had to write our thanks, and I am glad you want to be my friend. I really can use some; it seems that people have shied away from us since the fire, and it's really bothering me. It's like they think I did it, and I had NOTHING to do with it! It was just an unfortunate accident! What do you suggest I do? I am at my wit's end, and it is about to drive me CRAZY!!
