Thank you so much for writing! It was so nice to hear from you! Your letter came today, and it was a joy to read it! You seem like a very dedicated and caring person with a compassionate heart, especially when it comes to the need of children with special needs! Your family sounds absolutely wonderful; I can't wait to get your two books, "A Family Made out of Rainbows and Miracles: The Sandusky Family Story--A True Story of Love and International Adoption" and "...And The Miracles Continue"! Seems like I will soon have some good material to read on those hot, hazy, sticky summer days! :)
I hope this finds you well; but I am sorry to hear that Johnny and Ronee' are facing hospital stays. I pray and hope that Ronee' 's surgery goes without a hitch, and I pray and hope that Johnny's muscular dystrophy isn't getting any worse! Seems like both Johnny and Ronee' have had more than their share of heartbreak; but they still sounds like wonderful kids who have a great outlook on life, even when life isn't being nice to them! Good for them!
How is the weather there in Tennessee? Here it has been stormy and nasty; yesterday we had threats of tornadoes here, and we have been hiding out in the basement the last several days when the weather warnings go out. I am starting to get nervous; now is the start of severe weather season, and I am not too very fond of storms, let alone tornadoes, flash flooding, or high winds, as well as large hail! I hope the weather is much nicer there than it has been here as of late! We were going to go to Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, which is this huge amusement park, and they have 16 roller coasters; but with the weather being the way it has lately, we haven't been able to go. I do hope that we get to go to Cedar Point soon; I hear it is a very wonderful place to see! Have you ever been lucky enough to have gone to Cedar Point? If not, you should go; all my friends who HAVE gone to "The Point" have been raving about all the rides and all the attractions there!
In relation to the question you asked about my book, "African Blessings: Our Family's Miraculous Story", I wrote it last year, around Christmas, but it just went into print come March, so it has been out for only a few months. But I will be sending you a copy of it, so don't you worry! :)
I am sorry if this isn't much of a letter, but I am in the middle of a load of laundry, and I want to get it done before the weather gets bad out again. I hear we may have another round of it. I hope not; I am about stormed out! LOL I will write more later. Take care, and God bless you mightily! I will be on the lookout for your package; and I will let you know when I get it in the mail!
