Louisiana Sandusky writes a letter to Rebekkah Rachel Cohen, who is a friend to her children, Johnny and Ronee', after Rebekkah has written to them, in her way of encouraging them from their upcoming hospitalizations.

Dear Rebekkah Rachel~
Thank you so much for writing to two of my children, Johnny and Ronee', yesterday. We got your email yesterday after we came home from church, and your prayers and good wishes couldn't have come at a better time! You are so sweet to think of Johnny and Ronee'; as you know, they are going into the hospital tomorrow afternoon, Johnny, for tests, and Ronee', for hip replacement surgery. Johnny will have the first of his tests tomorrow evening, and Wednesday, he will be in testing all day while Ronee' will be prepped for surgery tomorrow and then will have it early Wednesday morning.
As you can imagine, I am terrified that something will go horribly wrong, and that they may end up damaged or dying, or that Johnny will get a grim prognosis in relation to his muscular dystrophy; but I mustn't think of such morbid thoughts and put my trust wholly and completely in the Lord above and pray that Johnny and Ronee' both weather their experiences without any incidents whatsoever. We had Pastor Bilkey and our prayer warriors pray over Johnny and Ronee' last night at church, so I know that God will be in command of the situation; and that really comforts me.
Your letter brings comfort as well; what you wrote really took a lot of worry from my shoulders, and you are kind to think of them in such a meaningful way. You are truly a good friend, Rebekkah, and I thank you so much for being there for them, if not in the physical sense, but in the spiritual!
I will be keeping in touch with not only you, but my other friends, regarding the outcome of Johnny's testings and Ronee' 's surgery, so you won't be kept in the dark. I will contact you either by email or by phone; and you will all know something by Wednesday evening at the very latest. Just keep us in your prayers; that is all we ask! We will keep you in OUR prayers too, in the meantime, and we hope you are doing better. It seems to me that you are, judging from your note. That is good to hear!
Please tell your mother and father hello from us, and thank you again! Johnny and Ronee' will be thrilled to know that you were thinking of them, and I will try to have them email you before they go into the hospital tomorrow!
