Dear Regina April~
I am very happy to hear from you; thank you for taking the time to write to me. You ARE a true survivor, and I was moved when I read of your story in your letter! God is using you in a mighty way, and I can see very good things happening to you in your future!
Sure, at times, you are going to struggle, but then, don't we all? That is when we need to rely on God the most, so He can get us through those tough days and bring us back out onto the mountain! I rely on Him in my daily life, and I believe that He has been blessing me and my family because I have been obedient to Him!
I would very much love to meet you too, Regina. Any friend of Kendra's is a friend of mine! LOL I am looking forward to seeing Kendra and the girls again, but as to WHEN she is coming, I don't have any clue. Hopefully she will let me know soon! You would be most welcome to come here! We would make you feel at home, and we would be more than happy to let you stay at our place!
Yes, it is true ...we ARE adding another child to our family (as if our family isn't ALREADY big enough! LOL)...a little eight-year-old Miracle from Romania named Janica Kryzstina! She is so pretty; we have her picture, and we are waiting for the day when she can be with us! The adoption has been approved; now all we are waiting on is for Janica to finish her medical exams and when she is giving the "all clear", she will then join our family! She has spina bifida, and like you, she relies on forearm crutches and/or a wheelchair, but we are told that she is a very happy child who is learning English and is looking forward to her new life in America!
I am sorry too about Diane, but she is in a much better place, and I am sure she is much happier, now that her suffering on Earth is through. I feel bad for Hildago, her husband, and the kids, but I am sure that with the help of the Lord above and the help from friends like myself (and others), they will be just fine..it will take time for them to get over the loss of Diane, but God WILL take care of them if they just learn to lean on Him and rely on Him for strength during this time of grief...I will miss her so much; she was an angel, and she was always so sweet to me and my children!
Do you live near Kendra and Louisa, or do you live further out? We live smack dab in Nashville, in the northern part, kind of near the Grand Ole Opry. We love it here, and we think the area is so beautiful! The people are fantastic here, and we wouldn't trade it for all the money in the world! I was born in Louisiana (hence, my first name; my maman didn't have any imagination; she named all us girls after states! LOL), but I moved here to Tennessee after the death of our third child, and we have been here since. Now we have 52 Miracle Children (just about all of them have special needs), and now we are awaiting the arrival of a little Angel from Romania!
Well, Regina, sorry if I didn't tell you more about myself in this first letter to you, but I will do so in the coming letters ahead. I just hope that you don't mind writing to a chatterbox; yup, that's me...a chatterbox! I have been told by people I must have diarrhea of the mouth...LOL Seems that once I start talking, I can't stop! LOL Same goes for my letters! LOL Until I hear from you, you take care, God bless you mightily, and may He continue to bless your life!
