Dear America Faith~
Hiii! Thanks so much for writing; it is sooo wonderful to hear from you again! I hope this finds you and the kids well; you have been on my mind lately!
Did you hear that Kendra is getting a child from Sri Lanka anytime now, and that she is going to call her America Hope? What do you think of that? I think it is absolutely marvelous, and I can't wait to hear the good news that America is now there with them! I bet the Williams clan is beyond excited!!
Yes, it is true ...we ARE adopting a 53rd child, another girl! We are adopting an eight-year-old girl from Romania, and her name is Janica Kryzstina! She is absolutely beautiful! She has short, dark hair and green eyes (and freckles adorning her nose and cheeks), and she has spina bifida; and she is just sooo cute! I will send you a picture that the adoption agency sent to us; I think you will agree on how cute she is! *Giggle* As you can imagine, Bill and I are both plumb tickled, and the kids are already counting the days to when Janica will soon join us! :)
I am sorry you are struggling with your disease, but I am glad you have such a strong faith in Christ Jesus! I have always had a strong faith in God, but ever since I first became saved and began to grow in the Christian walk, my faith has only strengthened, and looking back, I don't see how I could have made it without God's grace in our lives during some of the worst moments imaginable! Now He has brought us back into the Light, and for now, things are going super for our family! God is continually working and giving us miracles beyond our imagination, and He is continuing to show us His Mercy, Compassion, and Grace! My back has never felt better, and on Saturday, Bill and I are going dancing to celebrate our 14th anniversary! We are going dancing at the Wild Horse Saloon here in Nashville; it is a country music club, and it is a very popular place! So I am going to shake a leg, and Bill is too..never mind the fact that he uses forearm crutches to walk...that won't stop him! LOL He just absolutely LOVES to dance! :) This is the first time we have gone dancing since the Breaux Bridge Crawfish Festival in Louisiana back in May, and we are both really looking forward to it!
And before we go dancing, we are going to eat at Joe's Crab Shack, which is a marvelous seafood place, and we can then dance off the seafood when we go dancing! LOL It should be a great time! :)
Your children sound absolutely marvelous, and I am glad you got to meet Chelsea and will soon meet America Hope! You are so lucky to live so close by to Kendra! I am glad you are there for one another; having good friends makes life so much more bearable, doesn't it?? I am glad you have so much faith in Bill's and my being parents..but it is all because of God....He is the one who brought our children to us, and if it were NOT for Him, we would NOT have a Johnny, a Ronee', a Jo-El, a Jodie, a Benjamin, a Deborah, a Sergei, a Roberto, or any of the others! Now we have Arjun and Rani, and soon Janica will be joining our family as our 53rd Miracle! I just hope in a way that no more children come; we have far way too many NOW as it is!! (But we wouldn't trade ANY of them for the world; they mean too much to us, and they have all blessed us in ways you can't POSSIBLY imagine!!) We have gotten to the point to where we can't imagine our family without ANY of our kids, and we are sooo happy that we have them in our home--and hearts! :)
Maybe one of these days I will write about some of the Miracles we tried to adopt--but, for some reason or another, the adoptions fell through, and they couldn't join our family (otherwise we'd have over *60 kids* by now! LOL)...but I am happy to report that most have found loving families to call their very own, and at last report, they seem to be doing well. So that is an answer to prayer as well..even though we grieved over their loss, they still ended up in loving homes with families that wanted them, and they are now "kids in forever families"! :) We have done far too much in the adoption business already with all the kids that WE have taken in; now let's give other families the same opportunity! LOL We don't want to get ALL the glory!! LOL
How is the weather there? Here it is partly sunny out, with temps in the lower 80's, really pretty out. Hope it is nice there! We ARE doing much better than south Florida, where they have gotten dumped with excess rain...oh, Lord, I only hope and pray that my friends in South Miami, Eddie Greene and Betty Jo Ciagalore, are okay..haven't heard from them, wonder if they got flooded out! I pray and hope not!! That would be horrible!! I will have to drop them both a line to see if they are well....
Well, America, I must go now...we are getting ready to take the kids out to lunch at the Golden Corral...they have been behaving very well, so it's time to reward them with a buffet at the wild and woolly Golden Corral! LOL (My one daughter, Steffi, works there, but she will be leaving for Texas in the fall, where she will then go to college at Texas A & M.)
