Louisiana is thrilled to hear that Kendra has adopted not one, but TWO children, from Sri Lanka. She is happy to hear of the news; and she lets her friend in California know that.

Omigod, you are so blessed!! Thanks so much for your happy letter! I am happy to hear that little America Faith has arrived safe and sound, and I am happy to hear that her little sister, Kellie, has joined the family as well! That is splenDIFerous news! LOL Congratulations on your new arrivals from Sri Lanka!!
We are doing well; we are getting ready to go to the Nashville Fourth of July BLAST! Independence Day celebration; it starts Saturday, and it culminates on Monday, July 4, with a patriotic concert and fireworks in the evening. We will go tomorrow and again on Monday. We would go Sunday, but we have church that day, so going to the festival is out of the question. Johnny will be performing on Monday, and Ronee' will be doing maybe two songs tomorrow; she still can't go without her walker now, so her being on stage for forty-five minutes to an hour is out of the question for her. She WILL be in the Fourth of July parade; she will be on a float. Gemini is going to be in the parade too; she will be twirling the baton along with the Donelson Senior High Marching Band. We will be going to some of the events, and we will be having a picnic; and we will see the parade and watch Johnny, as I just mentioned.
I have been busy myself...going to the veteran's home the last several evenings, helping out with (and visiting) the veterans there, working at the hospital during the day (even have had some double shifts lately, as Genevieve's husband, George, has been very ill as of late; he still isn't doing very well; please keep George Voisin and his wife, Genevieve, in your prayers!), taking care of my village LOL, and taking care of my hubby. Add to that writing letters or working on yet another manuscript for a future book! Siggghhh....seems that my work is never done; maybe I need to clone myself....LOL
How is the weather there in Soulsbysville? (I hear it is hot there; we will TRY to send you guys some cooler weather!) Here it is warm but sunny, and it is supposed to be slightly cooler over the weekend, and still sunny up through the Fourth of July. No rain is expected until maybe Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. (Which is fine with us, as we don't have to worry about rain wrecking our holiday plans or canceling out the firework display!) Last year, we had a nice day, but then, right during Ronee' 's segment on stage, an unexpected durecho came, and Ronee' 's portion was canceled (she only got several songs in before the storm came), and we were worried that the fireworks would get canceled; but it cleared out in time, and even though the fireworks WERE delayed, they weren't canceled, much to the relief of the festival celebrants!
What are YOUR plans for the holiday weekend? We plan on relaxing and going to the festival, and we plan on enjoying the time off work. Both Bill and I got the weekend off, and we both don't have to go back to work until Tuesday, so we are going to take advantage of our time off and ENJOY ourselves! :)
We are still waiting word on Janica; we hope she will be coming soon. We have gotten her room ready (she will be sharing a room with Gemini, Barbara, and Ronee'), and we have gotten her some clothes and some toys that I know she will enjoy once she DOES arrive! We have her picture, and I look at it every day, and I talk to it as though she were here, and we are already counting the days to when she will come! :)
I loved the picture of your daughters; they are beautiful! I will be sending you some new pictures that were taken at church and also in the backyard; and I know you will enjoy them! My kids are really getting big, and I wish I could keep them little forever!
Well, Dear Heart, I will go now; the kids are outside, and they are swimming. I can hear their happy shouts from here, in my room, and I want to make sure that no fights break out or nobody gets drownded! I don't feel like rescuing a kid today, if you know what I mean...I don't want to have to call an ambulance on them...

Good grief! When did find time to work at the Vets Home!!!!???? She just doesn't stop.
