I am happy to have heard from you again; thank you for writing! I will be more than happy to send you information about sugar gliders; after all, Wendy, my wife, AND myself DO raise them! We now have six, as you know, and they do make life fun! I hope you are considering purchasing one (or maybe two); they make wonderful little pets, and they are so much fun to have around!
It is a sunny, hot day here (but that is per usual here in Texas during the summertime). Now there is a hurricane (Dennis the Menace) lurking in the Gulf, and there is a remote possibility it may strike here. I pray and hope not; I have been through enough hurricanes to know of the damage they can cause; and when it comes to hurricanes, I know NOT to mess around! How is the weather there in Tennessee? I hope it is good!
Well, Louisiana, I do suppose you have your reasons behind adopting kids with disabilities, but you have perfectly explained your reasonings, and I appreciate that very much! I really do! I wouldn't mind adopting a kid in need, but I really don't know if I could handle a child who is disabled or sickly. I wouldn't know what to do lest an emergency came up! I am glad that you are a nurse and that you are very well equipped to deal with emergencies! (I wish you were my wife instead of Wendy! LOL Just don't tell your husband, Bill, I said that..he may end up killing me! LOL) But you ARE doing the world a favor by adopting these children, and the world needs more people like yourself!
Well, I suppose by now you heard what happened in London, England...a terrorist attack killed over 40 people there and injured hundreds, and it is pure chaos and madness there. I hear Al-Quaeda (spelling?) may be behind it..I pray mercy upon those poor people in England, and I pray that those responsible are brought to swift and sure justice; this madness must NOT continue! What do you think about it? I think it is absolutely inSANE! It has been all over the tv, and the kids are confused about what is going on. I don't blame them; I am pretty well confused, myself! I am just glad Tony Blair and President Bush weren't there...even though I did vote for John Kerry during the election, I must admit that I DO admire President Bush's resolve to bring these terrorists to justice, and to help free the Iraqi people from tyrannic rule! I am just glad they got Saddam Husain, now it's time to break out all the barrels and nab ol' Osama bin Laden and end his reign of terror and evil, not to mention, his followers! The world would be so much safer without these scumbags roaming it and causing mayhem and fear!!
Louie, you don't have to send us your first book free of charge...we could buy it at the bookstore! But I do thank you for thinking of us; that is awfully nice of you! Now I will be looking forward to some more good reading material in the mail! :)
I am glad you have such a good friend in Kendra Williams. How is she doing? I may write to her and see what she has to say in regards to adopting kids. I and Wendy ARE experienced adoptive parents, but we are nowhere NEAR as "experienced" as you are or she is! LOL Do you mind if I write to her? Let me know! I am glad that you counsel other parents about adoption, but I STILL say you must be related to Superman or SuperWoman! LOL If I did as much as you did, I would have to CLONE myeslf first! LOL
Well, I have to fix the kiddoes lunch, so I will go for now. (As you can tell, I am still on vacation, and I am enjoying it emmensely!) God bless, and do write again!
