Dear Louisiana~
Hi~ This is your Inuk friend, Jenna, from Anchorage, Alaska! I hope this finds you well; I have been busy, plus I have been trying to work on my depression. I have had bad days and good days, and I have been talking (okay, SIGNING) to a counselor; and she has given me helpful advice. I have been writing in a journal, and I have been trying to communicate better with Michael; and so far it has been halping. But still continue to pray for me.
I am doing okay, but I am still having a hard time trying to do things with just one good working hand and leg. It is very difficult at best, and I still grouse at Michael because sometimes I feel he isn't giving me ENOUGH in the way of help, and I end up getting frustrated.
Michael is well; he is still working at the bar, but he is still sad about his mother dying; and I don't blame him, really. After all I have gone through the same thing myself, as I lost BOTH parents. At least he still has his daddy left! I have NOBODY except for my sister, Jerrica and her family!
Wasn't that awful what happened in London, England, yesterday? Now, the news officials are saying over fifty people have died in the terrorist attacks, and thousands have been hurt, many of them seriously. I don't understand the motive behind the terrorists sometimes; makes me wonder what is going on in the world nowadays...scary! I have been praying to the spirits to protect our world from further attacks, and I have been praying especially hard for America and England. I know you must have felt the horror in your own heart and spirit because of what you went through on September 11, 2001, and it is like a festering wound that has been reopened. I am so sorry you have had to experience that, and I pray that your God gives you comfort and peace.
Do you have any friends in England? If so, I hope you are praying for them! That must be awful not knowing if your friends are alive or dead!
How is the weather there in Tennessee? Here it is stormy and mild; it has been raining ever since I got up, but I don't hear the rain or the thunder, I just see the lightning flashes and know from looking out what it is doing. My body has been hurting, and I wonder if I am getting arthritis in the joints! I hope the weather there is a lot nicer!
I am glad to hear that Johnny and Ronee' made it through their tests (AND their surgery); and I am glad to hear that that is all behind them now. Please send them my love!
I am also glad to hear that your trip to Greece went without incident. I am so jealous of you...you get to be the world travelers, and here I am, stuck in this godforsaken apartment, bored out of my everlovin' gourd! LOL
