Louisiana emails her friend in Anchorage, Alaska, after Jenna Aurora Doucet has written to her. She is glad to hear that her friend is getting help for her depression and anger.

Dear Jenna Aurora~
You don't know how relieved I am to have heard from you at last! I was so worried that something bad may have happened to you or you tried to take your life, but I am so relieved to know that you are trying to help yourself and are trying to help overcome your innermost angry feelings. I know it isn't easy, but with the right help and the right direction, it CAN be done! You are always in my prayers!
I am glad that you and Michael are talking again. That helps to bridge any gaps you may have created upon your (brief) separation. I have been praying for the two of you, and I know that even though you may not believe in God at the present time, I still firmly believe that He is working in your lives now, even as I speak and write to you now!
I am glad the weather is warming up there, but I know that you, Jenna, being an Inuit and all, sixty degrees to you is hot while to us it is cool. I would give anything for sixty or seventy degree weather now: it is HOT here! And it is RAINY! We have had the remnants of Dennis the Menace come through here, and there has been some (minor) flooding (none at our place, thank God; we live on a hill), and it has been raining to beat the band; but it should start tapering off within another hour or so; and then it is supposed to (slowly) move on out of here and head north. (I HOPE.) Right now I am so sick of rain I could just SPIT! LOL I hope the weather is a lot nicer there in Anchorage than it has been here in Nashville!
I know ONE thing: Ronee' is in a lot of pain (she is NOT flaring in any way, but the rain does NOT help her arthritic joints any!), and she is miserable. I wish I could do something to help brighten her sullen mood, but I am afraid I am not much help because I have not been in the best of moods myself. Between working oodles of hours (I have been working my normal shift, plus I have been working the 2-11 shift at the hospital, as Genevieve Voisin's husband, George, has been very sick himself, and she has been spending time with her sick husband), trying to raise my village LOL and my husband, writing, and so forth, there has NOT been enough hours in a day for me! I think I may have to clone myself...LOL That is why I haven't written until just last week, and I wanted to let you know that I didn't kick the bucket! LOL I am still very much alive, thank goodness! :)
Jenna, you know I will pray for you (and Michael)! I always do! And thanks for the prayers and good wishes for Johnny and Ronee'. They were glad to know that you asked about them; and they send you love and kisses right back! They love and miss you so much! They will be writing soon, so be on the lookout for letters from them in the mail! I also appreciate the prayers for Kendra. I have heard from her, but she hasn't said anything further about the mess involving the people threatening to have her kids taken away from her or kicked out of her house, so maybe this mess is starting to settle down. I certainly hope so; poor Kendra has more than enough worries on her plate without all THIS!
No, I am glad to say that I don't have any friends in England, but it is still a terrible thing that happened last week in London. I feel as though I am reliving the horrors of September 11, 2001, all over again, and now I can't stand to see the news, which is unlike me as I am a NEWS HOUND DELUXE! Now the news scares me, and I worry about what may happen next...God help our world...I feel so bad for those people, and I feel bad for those who lost loved ones in the attacks! I also feel for those who were injured! I have been praying for those dear people over there, and I just thank GOD that Presidents Bush and Blair weren't involved in the attacks! It could have very easily happened, and it sickens me that there are so many bad people out there!
Well, dear heart, I must go for now; have to get ready to go to work and fix the kids supper before I leave...I go in at five today and work until 11 or even midnight, depending on how busy we are...lately we have been swamped with patients at Nashville Mem; seems that the warmer temps bring more patients our way...until next time I hear from you, Jenna, you take care, and give my love to Michael! God bless you both always!
And if you EVER need to talk, you know where to reach me! I am as close to you as the computer or the phone! Remember that!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tennessee, Louie May Sandusky. :) (trying to smile through my tears)
