I fully understand your not being able to make this trip. I am sorry to say the situation has just grown more urgent. Susan has had to be hospitalized due to a reaction to the stress. She is not doing very well currently, in fact her condition is worse than that of her mother. As I am sure you can imagine, this is taking a toll on Audrey, who is sick with worry over her daughter. The other girls are doing as well as can be expected but they need to be in a more stable enviroment than the group home can provide and I am sorry to say our foster homes are all maxed out at the moment. I talked to Audrey about sending the girls out to stay with you and she reluctantly agreed. She really hates to have to be away from them but understands the need. Let me know if you could pick them up at the air port tomorrow afternoon.

The sentiments you expressed over Audrey's husband mirror mine. If I had my way he would suffer for the rest of his life for what he has done to his family. I only wish I had known of the situation sooner but it seems he did an excellent job of totally isolating the family from the world around them. Audrey is very brave for daring to reach out to Mrs. Sandusky when she did. If not for that, she might not be alive, and her children might have paid as well.
