Louisiana writes to Louisa Mason in California after she has witten to her. Another friend's daughters, Lacey and Maria, are staying with her while their mother and oldest sister recover in a hospital in Mississippi from their injuries, inflicted upon them by Audrey's husband..and the girls' father.

Dear Louisa~
I am so glad to have heard from you again. I am very relieved that a.) your pregnancy is going well, and b.) Maria and Lacey are safe with you and your girls. I heard from Susie in Mississippi, not once, but twice, and she is a deeply disturbed little girl. She is really upset about what has happened to her and her mother, and she says that she still loves her father; but she is very angry about what has happened, and she doesn't know if she can ever forgive him for molesting her and nearly killing her mother. It is a really sad situation all the way around.
I have been trying to encourage the little girl, and I told her that I wanted to pray for her and her family, and I told her that I would write to her; she seemed to be okay with that; but she sure has a lot on her plate: her mother and father, not to mention, her own physical health, being apart from her little sisters, and not knowing what the future holds for her or her family.
I just pray that Deborah Anderson is doing the right thing in sending Maria and Lacey to California and leaving Susie and her mama back in Mississippi. I am scared that Jack will somehow find them and try to harm them all the more. All I can do is pray and hope that this does NOT happen, and that God sends extra protection for Susie and Audrey Jackson. I also hope that Deborah Anderson doesn't try to do anything "funny".
I am praying that your baby is born healthy and without any problems to speak of. So it may be another girl. How wonderful! I bet your daughters are excited about the impending baby to be!
Well, we are waiting for our OWN "arrival" into our family: not a baby, per se, but still, a new child, another girl, a girl of eight years, who is from Romania. Her name is Janica Kryzstina, and seh has spina bifida. She CAN walk for shorter distances on forearm crutches and leg braces, but for longer trips, she uses a wheelchair. She will be arriving sometime in August, but WHEN, we don't know just yet. Still, we ARE counting the days to when Janica Kryzstina will join our International Family! :)
I have heard from Kendra Williams, your friend, and she says that it is very hot there in Soulsbysville. Over 100 degrees outside?? GEEZ, toooo HOT for me!! LOL (But you don't have the humidity that we do here: sometimes, in the summer, Nashville can feel like a sauna! LOL) It has been steamy here (due to all the rain we have had, thanks to Dennis the Menace's remnants and stubborn lows that refuse to budge and have plagued our area), but we are hoping that the rain (or the threat thereof) will soon move on and we can then have some drier (or sunnier) weather! I hope it clears up very soon!
Well, Louisa, Johnny is calling me, so I'd best go and see what he wants. Take care, Louisa, and please keep me informed as to how Lacey and Maria Jackson are faring! I will do the same with you in letting you know how Susie and Audrey Jackson are doing (that is, if Deborah Anderson doesn't beat me to it! LOL).
