Dear Louie,

I have made a very difficult decision. After much thoughts and prayer, I have decided I am going to give the girls up for adoption. I think they would be better off with someone else raising them. It’s very clear I lack as a mother. I am going to send Susie to her sisters, since being here is not beneficial to her health or well being and I am going to start the paper work to start the adoption process. I don’t want to give them up but in my heart I know this will be better for them. I know anything has to be better than living with me. It breaks my heart to part with my girls but I have to do what is best for them. I can’t stand seeing them hurting so badly. They deserve better, much better than I have been and ever will be able to give them. I know that everyone is going to disagree with my decision but I am not going to be talked out of this. Lacey and Maria needs to have a stable, permanent home, where they do not feel the need to lash out and hurt other children. I don’t want them hurting others because they are hurting. I thought I taught my girls better than that. I guess that is just another area I have fail as a mother.
