Dear Diary,

It's hard to see in this dark cellar but I am going to try to write a short entry into this journal. Maria, Lacey and I have arrived at our new home and it is not at all what we had expected. The people (our new mom and dad) are very mean to us. They lock us in the cellar all day and only let us out to use the bathroom once a day. Sometimes they don't even feed us every day. The man, his name is Chris, does the same things to us our daddy did. The woman, her name is Holly, hits us every time she comes down here. I don't know why people have to be so mean. We are just little girls. We didn't ask to come here and live with them. I think Deb knew what they were like and she only brought us here because Chris and Holly paid her to take us. I heard them talking after we arrived and I saw Chris hand Deb a huge roll of money.

I miss my Mama. I hope she is not too sad since we are gone. I know she would have never let us come if she had known we would be treated this way.

I hear Chris coming so I have to close for now. Maria and Lacey are already cry. I am trying to be strong for them. It's so hard because I am so scared and feel so alone.
