Louisiana writes to her friends from Greece, Sari Annike and her husband, Nikolas, who are getting ready to go on a free 21-day-long cruise to Alaska; she wants to know what prompted this. She also tells them about the arrival of the Sandusky's newest child, Janica Kryzstina, who came from Romania.

Dear Nikolas and Sari~
Hai! Miitu kuuluu? Kiitos hyvaas!
Now, what is this about your going on a free 21-day-long cruise to Alaska?? Did you enter a contest or something, or did you get it from your job? What exactly happened, and how did you get this cruise?? What cruise line are you going on? Carnival? What?? How exciting!! I am so happy you got this cruise; it couldn't have happened to two nicer people!!
I know it is a sin to be envious or jealous of other people, but right now, I can't help it! Jeez, a FREE cruise?? WOW!! I bet you and Sari and beyond excited!! You will have to tell me ALL about it when you guys get back!! Now you have whetted my appetite; we are going on a cruise ourselves, on the Carnival Cruise Line Spirit (I believe that is the name of the ship!), but it isn't until next year, and the entire family--husband, parents, and kids, as well as myself--are going! So are the grandkids and the spouses! (We will probably take up a good portion of the ship! LOL) But *shhhhhhhhhhhh!!*....DON'T tell anyone; it's a secret! Nobody knows of this yet, and it is sooo hard to hide something like a family cruise to ALASKA from the family! LOL We are really going to have fun, and I KNOW my family will go *BONKERS* when they finally find out that they are going on a cruise next year to Alaska (my treat!!)!!
I also wanted to let you know that our newest Miracle Child, eight-year-old Janica Kryzstina from Romania, has safely arrived to our place, and she is absolutely beautiful! I think you may have seen her picture; if not, I will enclose it with this note to you, so you can see what she looks like! She is absolutely aDORable, and other than being shy at the present time, she is still a very sweet child with a quiet, unassuming personality! We are enjoying her very much, but I know she is still scared of her unfamiliar surroundings; but I know that, in time, she should adjust, and her true personality should then start to pop out!
I have been busy taking care of my village LOL and my hubby and parents, and I have also been going to counseling. I have had a recent near-nervous breakdown, and it started to affect my health; but since I started journaling and counseling, I am starting to do better. I also have heard from my friend in Mississippi, the one who is having all the serious problems, and I wrote to her; now I am just waiting for a reply from her. I pray and hope that she is okay. I know she is having a very hard time, not having her girls with her, and not knowing whether her abusive husband is still stalking her, threatening to strike; and it is a very scary time for her, indeed..and for me, as I AM her friend! Just keep her in your prayers, that is all I ask! Her name is Audrey Jackson, and she is currently recovering from her serious injuries. Her husband like to have nearly killed her, and it's a miracle that she survived at all!
How have things been going with you guys? How is your health holding out, Sari? Have you had any more trouble with your multiple sclerosis or your fibromyalgia acting up? I hope not! Has Nikky been taking care of you? How are you doing, Nikky? You still working hard? I hope you guys are doing well; I think of you both often! And when is it that you are leaving for Finland for the winter? That way, I can write to you at Sari's Finnish address instead of your current addy in Athens, Greece! Is the weather hot there? It is hot here in Nashville; summer has most definitely taken hold here, and I am already looking forward to the fall and the arrival of cooler temps!
We are going to be going to Louisiana in a few weeks for the annual LeCajun Cajun Music Awards Show and Festival; we go every year, and we always have the best time! It's held in Lafayette, and the biggest and brightest acts in Cajun music get together for a weekend full of continuous Cajun musical entertainment, dancing, eating, and so much more! Ronee' is scheduled to perform there, on Saturday, and she (and we) is/are looking forward to it! We should have a great time; we will tell you all about it after you get back from your cruise!
Well, guys, I will go now; time to get the kiddies up and start the day. I will write again soon; but let me tell you guys to have a wonderful time, and let me be among the first to wish you a "Bon Voyage"! Be careful, stay safe, and know you will be in my prayers and thoughts! God bless you both, and know I miss and love you so much!

Move over, Tinka. Nickolas and Sari are gonna have two more stowaways--Karen AND me. (We go as a team, she and I. Did I learn my lesson the last time I went on a cruise--couldn't take Karen, didn't have an extra $1,500. laying around...and boy, did she let me know that! I was NEVER to leave her behind while *I* had fun without her.....)
