Dear Louisiana~
Thank you ever so much for your eye-opening, enlightening letter; it was very nice to hear from you again! I loved the picture of the children you put on your letter; they are absolutely beautiful, especially the laughing little girl on the bottom! Are they some of your children? If so, they are precious!
Thank you for sending me the list of the adoption agencies of which you have "done business" with, and thank you too for answering my most pressing questions. Now I know what to expect, and I am sorry about the losses of your children (the ones who died, and the ones you tried to adopt, but failed for one reason or another). That is so sad! But I can tell that you are a very good mother to the remaining children, and I am sure that they are so happy that you chose them! You have a lot of love and compassion inside your heart to take on so many sick or disabled children, and not many people can do what you and your husband do. You are truly angels of this earth, and you are to be admired for your courage and dedication in caring for children who might never otherwise have a chance!
Congratulations on the impending adoption of the little Romanian girl, Janica Kryzstina; I am sure that you must be thrilled! How wonderful! But *53 CHILDREN*??? Either you must be NUTS or you just have an awful lot of love in your heart! I am so happy for you! I will take your lead and just "go for it", and I will do the research beforehand, so I don't bite off more than I can chew, you know?? LOL If anything, your books, "A Family Made out of Miracles And Rainbows" and "...And The Miracles Continue", and your letter gave me hope; so what if I am a single parent...if others can do it, and do it successfully, then by God, so can I! I am going to go for it! Wish me luck, and please be praying hard for me! *giggle* Is Janica there yet, or are you still waiting for her?? Let me know! Thanks!
How is the weather there in Tennessee? Here it is hot, but we are waiting for a cold front to come; by tomorrow evening, it will be cooler, and we will then have a beautiful few days come Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the low to mid 70's. I know it must be hot there down south; I personally don't know how you Southerners take the summertime heat down there! I once was in Atlanta (HOTlanta), Georgia, on a trip to visit a friend, Wilma, and it was so hot there I about MELTED! I don't take the heat too well because I have asthma, and the heat only makes my asthma worse! So when it is hot out, I just stay in, right in front of the ol' air conditioning! (Thank GOD for a/c!!)
Well, Louie, again, thank you so much for answering my questions. I really appreciate your assistance; you seem like a very good Christian lady who sure knows her stuff! LOL I will go for now; time to take my asthma medicine and lie down; I am having a bit of difficulty breathing, so I must rest. I hate summertime...it sure does not help my asthma, that is for DARN sure!! GRRR!! Take care, and God bless you and your beautiful Miracle Family always!
