Dear Louisiana Sandusky~
Thank you so very much for the sympathy wishes concerning our youngest son, Adam...it is very much appreciated. We still cry at least once or twice every day; we miss him so very much; but we know that he is in a better place now, and that he is no longer suffering. He died of fluid buildup in his brain (what he had, that is; he only had half of a brain at birth), and that was what had killed him. His death was quick but painful, and it was so hard to see him like that! The doctors did all they possibly could to try to save him, but it was not meant to be; he was meant to go on to his Heavenly Home and be with Jesus. We will eventually move on with our lives; but there is still such a heavy sadness and grief in all of our hearts, and it will be a very long while before we are ourselves again. But we will never forget Adam as long as we shall live!
The weather here is nasty...the remains of Tammy paid us a visit, and we got lots of heavy rain (some minor flooding reported in parts of the city, but not where we are at; still, everything is a sloppy, soggy mess, and it is more suited for DUCKS! The kids are all inside, and they are getting bored with their games, videos, and stuff; have to find a way to entertain them...maybe tomorrow we will take them to see the new Wallace and Gromit movie they have been advertising; it is rated G, and I think the kids would get a kick out of it. I know I would! Hope the weather there in Music City is better than it is here in Florida! We have plenty of sunshine here...the LIQUID variety! LOL
Your daughter, Janica, is very cute. Thank you for putting her picture on your letter so I could see what she looks like. She looks like a very happy young lady! Good for you! I bet you are enjoying her very much! But you sound like you have bitten off more than you can chew what with the hurricane victims staying at your house, but if that is what you want, then I say go for it. I won't try to stop you! LOL I hope that they are doing better, and I hope that they get to return to their homes soon (but we both know that won't be for a very long while yet; Rita and Katrina both tore up Louisiana and Mississippi pretty good, and it will be years before New Orleans, Louisiana, and Biloxi, Mississippi , are liveable again, or before they are back to their former glory prior to the hurricanes! I just feel so bad for those people!
I will have to go now; Aurora is having another spell with her heart. I can hear her gasping from here (and I am in the kitchen); I hope it is nothing serious. I will have to give her some of her heart medication to see if that calms it down; if not, I will have to call for an ambulance for her, so she can be checked out in the ER..I will keep in touch as to what is going on with Aurora; stay tuned!
