Dear Louisiana In America~
Hai! Miita kuuluu? I am afraid that I am not well--Oh, Nikky and myself got here to Finland with little difficulty, but not long after we got here, I fell ill, and I ended up in hospital for three weeks.
My MS has worsened considerably, and I am now using my wheelchair because walking on my crutches is such an effort. I also have been having problems with my eyes and at times I can barely see. It is scary, and I am wondering what is going to happen to me--or to Nikky. I have had to leave my job at university, and I am waiting to go onto disability, and I have been very unhappy. Please keep me in your prayers!
I pray and hope that this finds you in better spirits; my spirits are broken, I am afraid. It is cold here, winter will soon be here. The Northern Lights have been lighting up our skies here, but I haven't been able to enjoy them since becoming ill and being in hospital. I have been homebound, and the medications Dr. Aalto has me on wrecks my appetite, so I haven't been eating all that much. It also gives me dirrhea (spelling?), and yesterday,we went out to eat, and..I had an accident in my pants. It was all very upsetting, and I had Nikky take me home, where I have been since. The dirrhea is better today, thank goodness, but I am afraid to eat anything in case I should dirty up my pants again. I am a GROWN WOMAN; I should NOT be doing something like dirtying up my pants! Oh, the HORROR of it all!!
Tomorrow Nikky is going to take me to see Dr. Aalto again, to see if he can do something about my dirrhea...I will let you know what happens.
How is your family? I hope that they are all well. As for me, I am SICK of being sick! I am only in my 20's; I should NOT be worrying about my health (or the lack of it!) like this!!
Well, I will let you go. I am too upset and depressed to write any more. Until I hear from you, this is your Finnish friend saying Nakemiin!
Karen
Another excellent write, and a relief to read your stories I have been concenred about you
God Bless
Michelle!

Karen This is a sad letter of how frustrating things can be and the changes that life hands a person. I hope that the dr will know about that heart medication my uncle is on which has slowed the MS down to almost nothing. Once the pestimism and heartbreak of this terrible disease settles she will be like Christopher Reeves and so many others such as yourself too that will do things constructive and not let this new path now walked be dark and black hopeless and find the 1/2 full in the glass that there always is in everything.
Thanks for this heartfelt letter. I know that it is how all feel with news and dealing with the new things in life. Horrific, frustrating, terrifying changes and diseases.
Be back tonight for more readings. Time for me to go walk this path made for me since I moved to this rinky dink town (c :) 41 angels, nuggets of gold, here seen, so many others here but not seen. xoox
There is new medication on the market for MS and I don't understand why some people refuse to take it. It does slow down the progression of this terrible disease. I have seen it first hand in a friend of mine and he would have been dead years ago if he did not take it.
A poignant story about letting go of a narcissist in your life. Have you ever been attacked FULL force by a narcissist? It's the closest thing to being stabbed over and over in the back.
