Louisiana is sorry to have learnt of her Finnish friend's health troubles; so she tries to write her a letter of encouragement. She also tells her about the 80th Birthday Celebration at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, where she and her family live, and that they are going again this coming weekend if Johnny and Ronee' are feeling better.

Sari, I was so sorry to learn of your recent illnesses and health woes! I pray you are doing SOMEWHAT better today; I have been very worried about you ever since I got your email the other day! I wish I could do something more to make things easier for you, but since I cannot, I feel I CAN lift you and Nikky up in prayer and know that we are thinking of you during this very difficult time in your lives.
I am sitting at the pediatrician's office, waiting for Johnny and Ronee' to finish up with the doctor. Both have been ill, Ronee', with a bad sinus infection, and Johnny, with the beginnings of what appears to be a cold. I pray and hope that they get over their "bugs" soon; I HATE it when they get sick; I HATE it when ANY of my kids get sick, but in particular, Johnny and Ronee'. Johnny's health is getting so fragile now, what with his muscular dystrophy worsening, and Ronee' has had several major health crises in the past, and I am afraid that she may have another one if she (or we) isn't/aren't careful. Both Johnny and Ronee' have been through so much with their health it isn't a BIT funny, and they are part of the reason why I dye my hair!! LOL (Okay, I admit it...WITHOUT the Clairol, I am a grey-headed old Cajun! LOL I have a TON of the silver stuff in my hair, and I look so much older!! That is why I dye my hair; at least with it I look CLOSER to my TRUE age! LOL) I will let you know what the pediatrician says when he is done with the kids; stay tuned!~ So you aren't the only one who has been having health woes lately!
How is the weather there? Here it is in the seventies and kinda' rainy today; but by midweek it is supposed to turn partly cloudy. So I will be able to get on the computer and write to some of my e-pals! (I worked last night; I am off today because of Johnny and Ronee' 's doctor's appointments.)
Saturday night we had a great time: we went to the Grand Ole Opry's eightieth birthday celebration (well, Johnny and Ronee' didn't; but they ARE going this Saturday IF they are feeling better!!), and country superstar Garth Brooks, as well as Travis Tritt, Little Jimmy Dickens, Dierks Bentley (the newest Grand Ole Opry member; he is just starting out, but he has already blazed a name for himself in the country music market, and he sure knows his stuff when it comes to traditional country music!), Pam Tillis, and others were there, and we got to feast on some of the Grand Ole Opry cake; all of the audience members did, and we heard some fantabulous country music! As I just mentioned, we are going back to the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday for the birthday bash; kind of hard to believe it has been 80 YEARS since the inception of the Grand Ole Opry! Time sure does fly when they're havin' fun and makin' some WONDERFUL country music!! :) (We go to the Grand Ole Opry at LEAST twelve times a year; we all just enjoy it so much!!) If you like country music, you should make it a point to visit the Grand Ole Opry at least ONCE; you WON'T be disappointed!! There is NO telling WHO may show up at a given Grand Ole Opry performance, and each show is different; there are NO Grand Ole Opry shows that are alike! That is the beauty of a country music institution like the Grand Ole Opry, and when you DO go, you see the best of yesterday AND the best of today AS WELL as the best of the future of country music! :)
Well, Sari, I hear the nurse; I think Johnny and Ronee' are done with the doctor. I will write to you again another time; and I will tell you how the Grand Ole Opry show coming up on Saturday went. I will also let you know what the doctor said regarding Johnny and Ronee' 's health; HOPEFULLY it will be good news! In the meantime, YOU take care of YOURSELF, and know that you are always in my heart and prayers! DO tell Nikolas Ya'Sou from us, and give him our love! God bless you both always!
