Dear Journal~

Hi! This is Johnny!

I am feeling better today; I am about all over my crud that I had last week that caused me to miss the Grand Ole Opry on Friday; but then on Saturday, we went, and we had a great time! We saw all the Opry people there, and Loretta Lynn, Garth Brooks, and Lorrie Morgan were among those in attendance. We even got some of the Grand Ole Opry cake, and it was good, but then I dropped mine. I was sooo mad; I could have finished it, but nooo..I HAD to be a KLUTZ and drop it..right into my LAP! Talk about a gooey, sticky mess! LOL

Ronee' is over her stuff too, she still has a bit of her cough and the leftover sniffles, but she is feeling much better too. I am glad; I hate it when we are sick!!

Halloween is on Monday, but we will have our Harvest Festival at our church then. We will dress up again, but no monsters, devils, ,or vampires will be allowed. We don't really believe in all that creepy, scary stuff. Oh, well...I still don't know what I want to be...maybe a hobo or a clown. Ronee' is going as Loretta Lynn again. Hopefully we will win something during the costume contest; I sure hope so!

Last night on cable they had a great program about Loretta Lynn, and it was very enjoyable; but I would have rather seen REBA on there! It's like the country folk don't even REALIZE she is a big star too, like Loretta Lynn!  Of course, Loretta--I mean, RONEE'!--was singing along to her songs; I got mad at her because I wanted to hear LORETTA sing, NOT Ronee'! She drives me CRAZY at times with her singing!! That gal is ALWAYS singing!! I wish someon'd put a sock into her mouth to shut her up! LOL

The weather is finally cooled, and the leaves are changing fast. By next weekend the leaves should be at their peak. I like fall, but I also hate it because it means things are dying, and that is depressing to me. Then it will be winter, and I hate winter because it's hard to get around in my chair, and I hate being carried all over the place like I was a baby! I can't wait until spring comes again!!

I AM looking forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas, though; that's probably the best part of fall and winter. On Thanksgiving we will go to the Golden Corral to eat, and on Christmas, we will have all the kids home, and it will be like a ZOO at our house! And it will be special this year because of Janica, Arjun, and Rani being here, and this will be their first Christmas here in America as a member of the Sandusky family!! That will be so exciting for them!!

Well, I'd better go, I have to use the bathroom; time to change my catheter again. I feel a bit wet. ICK! I will write in here again; take care!
