I'm thankful for a lot of things, among them being that I have the world's greatest set of parents who love me for ALL my idiosyncrasies, good AND bad. They take their time to encourage me on ALL levels, and they take time from their busy schedules to actually LISTEN to me. I also have a lot of brothers and sisters who make life fun (not to mention, INTERESTING!!), and I have a ton of friends. In addition to all of this, I have my health, and even though I DO have some problems with my being able to walk, I still CAN walk, and I am doing a lot better than a lot of people; and I also have my asthma (FAIRLY) under control, after years of struggling. I also have the knowledge in knowing that I am a Christian and have accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. I'm thankful because I have lived far longer than doctors thought I would, and I am thankful for each morning that I wake up. I am also thankful to have a great family and many friends, after years of NOT having any. I am thankful to be doing better in school and having a teacher who isn't afraid to help me whenever I get stuck. I am thankful, too, for any good day that I have, and I am thankful for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, which has been nothing but a huge blessing for not only me, but my entire family, as well. (I have muscular dystrophy; I have had it for as long as I can remember.)
