Monday, December 5, 2005 (only 20 days 'til Christmas, 21 until my 13th birthday!!), 10:35 a.m., C.S.T.~

Hi! This is me, Johnny!

I am sorry for not writing in here for so long, but it is getting a lot harder for me to write for longer periods of time, and I get tired easily. So I have to type this on my computer because it is so much easier for me.

I have been doing good otherwise (that is, I haven't been sick or to the ER), and I also haven't had a seizure since taking my new  medicine. But I DID see a lady have a seizure the other day at the Golden Corral when we went out to eat, and it scared a lot of people. One minute, this woman was eating and laughing and enjoying herself, and the next, she fell out of her chair and onto the floor, and she started jerking uncontrollably. My mom, who is a nurse, immediately went to the woman's side while another man (I think it was her boyfriend or her husband) called 9-1-1 for an ambulance. Mom stayed by the woman and tried to reassure her terrified husband/boyfriend and her other friends; a few minutes later, both an ambulance and a fire truck came, and soon, about 15 minutes later, the woman (now lying on a stretcher-bed) was quickly rolled out the side emergency exit door. I felt so sorry for her because it happened in a crowded restaurant, where there was a lot of people present, and I am sure that once she becomes more awake and aware, she will be highly embarrassed. I know I would be!

I saw the Leonid meteor shower the week of Thanksgiving, but except for an occasional meteor or two, it was NOTHING like a few years ago! During that particular meteor shower, I saw something like 100 meteors an HOUR; and they were QUITE bright! It was spectacular!! But this meteor shower was a bust; I was highly disappointed!!

Speaking of meteors, they showed a meteor in Australia that was caught on video tape, and that thing was SO BIG and SOO BRIGHT! It looked like a multi-colored comet, and it was sooo cool!! I wish I could see a meteor like that; but I DO know it may scare the poopoo outta' me! LOL

I am doing PRETTY good, but I AM getting weaker, and I don't know what the next few months may bring for me. But I AM hopeful, and I am hoping that I am around for a long time!! I am using my wheelchair most of the time now; just use my crutches for short, short trips. It's a drag, if you ask me!!

I am getting excited: in just 3 weeks, I will ble turning 13 years old, which is a miracle because I wasn't expected to live past the age of five after I was first dianosed with this muscular dystrophy. But God must want something or have some mighty big plans for me; otherwise, I'd have been buried in the cold, cold ground long ago!! I am glad I am still here; I am glad I lived long enough to accept Christ into my heart, and I am glad that I lived long enough to see my family become saved too. Now we will be together in Heaven as well as here on Earth, and that is so comforting to me! :) And in three weeks it is Christmas, and I love the lights and the pretty decorations! I also love going to the mall to watch the people as they shop because I can go NEENER, NEENER, NEENER, because I am ALL DONE shopping!! *grins* I did all my shopping the day after Thanksgiving, and maman started hers back in AUGUST! She has to, what with the army SHE is raising! LOL I am just hoping that I get "The Polar Express" on DVD or a new GameBoy system; those are the two big things I want this year for Christmas and my 13th birthday!! :)

We will be having company come for Christmas: we will have our sisters who live out of state home, and I can see my cousins and my uncle from Colorado; and I also can see Dwerlina, Steffi, and Tanya, who are all going to college; and I also can see Melizza and Dianna, who both live a few miles from us. We will also see Jenna Aurora and Michael Doucet, our friends from Alaska, and we MAY get to see Kendra Williams and HER family, our California friends. That would be sooo cool if everyone came; but WHERE is maman gonna' put EVERYONE??? YIKES! LOL It is getting colder out too, and it is putting everyone in a Christmassey mood. We may even have SNOW sometime this week here in Nashville, according to the latest weather forecast! I hope so; I LOVE snow!!

We saw some Northern Lights last night; they were really pretty: blue, purple, red, and yellow, and the next minute, they turned green, and they were quite bright! There was a solar flare on the sun, and this is what caused the light snow in the northern sky last night. Made me think of the times when I was in Alaska; they were really cool! :)

Well, I will be going now; it is about time for me to leave study hall and go to my next class. I will try to write in here more often, but I am not holding out for any promises! Take care, and God bless!
