Dear Jenna Aurora~

Thank you ever so much for writing; yes, I have been wondering about you and Michael, wondering how you two are faring. It seems to me that you are both faring very well!! That is terrific news about your pregnancy, Jenna!! What a thing to have happen so close to Thanksgiving!! And what a MIRACLE! See?? I told you, God is in control of all things, even if they seem bad or unsurmountable, but if you choose to look towards Him and live for Him, He WILL make  a way out of the valley and into the light! Congratulations!! I am tickled PINK about this!!

We are doing well; the kids have been doing great in school and in their health. We have also adopted a new little girl back in August, and this will be the first American Christmas for Janica, who came to us from Romania. She is a beauty with her short, dark hair and green eyes and freckled face; and she has the sweetest personality! She is learning English at an incredibly fast rate, and she is a little speed queen on her crutches!! (She has spina bifida.) As for our other two we adopted this  year, both Arjun and Rani are coming along super, too. Arjun is talking up a storm, and Rani is now walking with just two Lofstrand crutches; and she may eventually come OFF them if she continues at the rate she is progressing in her physical therapy! And Ronee' may be off the oxygen COMPLETELY sometime within the next few months; her breathing attacks have all but stopped, and it is as though she is a completely different child altogether! She has had only one minor flare since her surgery, and the medications she has been on have been nothing short of miraculous, in terms of her physical being! She will be thirteen years old come Christmas Day, and she is really turning into a young lady!! Johnny is doing quite well for himself as well; he hasn't had any crises in a long while, and the medication he has been on for his seizures have also done a job in keeping them under control! Johnny is also turning thirteen the day AFTER Christmas, and he is nothing short of a medical Miracle because doctors didn't think he'd live beyond the age of FIVE. Now he is soon to be THIRTEEN!! God be thanked!! :)

Bill has been working hard at Wal*Mart: since it IS the Christmas shopping season, he has been putting in extra hours, and when he comes home he goes straight to bed, the poor dear!! He will be sooo glad when Christmas Eve comes, because then he will have two days to REST! (Speaking of Christmas Day, I was scheduled to work, but it seems that I have it OFF this year!! That will be sooo nice!! Especially since you and Michael are coming, and especially since Kendra may be coming as well!! And we found out that Sari and Nikolas are coming as well; so we will be up to our eyebrows with people! LOL) Our daughters are coming home from college, and Dianna and Melizza, who live a few miles from us, are to be here, too. I will get to see my grandbabies again, and I and granpere' (Bill) will get to spoil 'em rotten! LOL (That is our right; after all, we ARE their grandparents!! :) )

How is the weather there? Here it is cold, we may get snow in a day or two, if the weather pattern holds! Texas is under a winter storm WATCH now; tomorrow, they may have snow and freezing rain across North Texas! They are in desperate need of rain; they are under 14" in rainfall! They are in the middle of a severe drought now! And we are scheduled to get a round of the white stuff, too, when it comes meandering this way! It is just cold enough to put us all in a Christmassey mood! :)

Jenna, that is great you are going to school to better yourself! Good for you! I am so proud of you!! And as for your decision to adopt, that is TOO COOL!! Thanks for your vote of confidence in me, but it wasn't OUR doing to adopt: God somehow intervened, and He brought us children nobody else would want, and He has blessed us tremendously by bringing them into our heart and home! We are a very blessed family, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Sure, the adoption journey IS hard at first, but once the adoption DOES go through and the kids come to your life, then it is ALL well worth the wait!! We have gotten to the point to where we can't imagine the family without ANY of our Miracle Children, even Janica, Arjun, and Rani!

Yes, indeedy, please keep us informed as to how your pregnancy is going! If you need ANYTHING in terms of baby clothes, toys, or what not, you have come to the right person because I have PLENTY!! Again, congratulations, on the news!! You will be in my prayers and thoughts! All the best to you and Michael!
