I am sitting here at the computer, up bright and early (thanks to some of the little ones' crying, namely Sugar and Dixon, both, of whom, woke up with loose stomachs and messy diapers [not to mention, MESSY clothes and bedcoverings; YUCK!!). Needless to say, I am now waiting for the laundry to finish, so I can put the clothes and bedcoverings in the dryer! What a rude awakening!
I am happy to report that Miss Ellie has made it through her hip surgery. It could have very easily been so much worse; but she IS doing better. She will probably have to go to a nursing facility until she recovers and regains lost strength. Her son has been so good throughout this crisis, and it is obvious just how much Corey loves his mother. It is so heartwarming to see! :) Thank you for keeping her in your prayers, even though you haven't met the woman! I know she will apprciate it very much when I tell her!
The weather here is sunny, but last night, we had some rumblers go through here. Not too terrible, in terms of sevrity, but it was enough to wake up the kids. And then Dixon and Sugar wake up with "da squirts"! Needless to say, last night (and earlier this morning) has been quite interesting!
Please find enclosed the addy for the rehab center where Bethlehem is at. She will be thrilled to know that you want to keep in touch with her and want to send her cards. She will be so happy to hear from you! She talks about you and her family, and she just loves your book, "...And The Miracles Continue" as well as your first one, "A Family Made Out Of Miracles And Rainbows"! She has stated that when she gets big she wants to have a family just like yours! She thinks it is cool that a woman and a man can take in so many children who are disabled and make them their own! I told her we have done the same thing, but she thinks that we can adopt more kids, just so we can be like the Sanduskys! :) LOL Maybe we will, but it is UP to GOD first, NOT us! LOL It is HIS Will to see if we get any more children, but raising my family now IS a challenge, a daunting one, but still, quite interesting! LOL
Well, I have to get the clothes; the washer just buzzed, which means that I will have to put 'em in the dryer. I will write again soon; take care, dear friend! I will expect a reply in my INBOX toDAY! TAG! You're IT! LOL
