Hullo! Thank you so much for your most delightful letter; 'twas good to hear from you again! :)
I am happy to report that my dear family is faring well. My dear Angus has been home for about a month now, and he is finally getting his strength back; but it will be a few weeks still before he is able to return to his work schedule. It has been wonderful having him home; the kids just absolutely adore their papa, and I have been enjoying taking care of hiim! :) I will tell him that you have kept him in prayer; I think that is one reason why he has done so well since being in hospital! :)
The children, as I said, are all well. Alastaire, Brighton, and Peter have been enjoying their new little sister from China, and they spoil her unconditionally. Little Millicent is leaerning English, and she is starting to catch up to her peers. She has shown to be a very intelligent little girl, and we are delighting in her developing personality. She was once shy; now she is a social butterfly, and people are absolutely ENAMOURED with her! :) She is such a enchanting little love! :)
I am glad that you guys are well. That is wonderful that you are taking your family on a cruise to celebrate the adoptions of Rani, Arjun, and Janica! That is so super to hear! I know the kids will have a ball, and I know that you and hubby will too (espcially when the kids are asleep or doing other things! :) )! I hope that you have a safe and wonderful time onboard! :) (But WHY Alaska?? BRRR!! Isn't it a mite nippy there this time of year?? LOL I would rather go to the Caribbean! LOL)
Well, the Olympic Fever has struck the Alcorn household: my husband, a certified Olympic fanatic, has already written down the schedule for the games, so when he isn't at the chemist's or delivering goods, he will no doubt be holed up in the family den, watching all the Olympic action on the telly. The boys will probably be watching the Olympics, too, but Millie and I will have plenty of time to enjoy one another, and we will do "Girl Things", as only a mommy and toddler daughter can do! LOL Will YOU be watching any of the Olympics on the telly? I am not much of a fan of sports, I am more of a girly type girl, if you know what I mean! I'd much rather be serving tea to guests or cooking! LOL Or SHOPPING!!! LOL (Break out the credit cards!! LOL)
The weather here is patchy: partly cloudy out and it may clear up later. We have had snow a lot as of late, and I am more than ready for spring to come! I am not much of a cold winter fan; it gets my rheumatism active, and it is so dreadfully hard to try to do things without being in severe pain! Yes, I have rheumatism in my joints, and I alwyas KNOW when the weather is going to go downhill. (My husband kiddingly calls me "The Human Barometer"! LOL) At times the pain is so bad it is all I can do to keep from crying, and on REALLY bad days I have had to resort to using a CANE! I have had this problem for several years now, and it has been such a trial!
Well, I am going to go now. Little Millie is crying; have to see why. I will write more later. (The boys are in school. So at least, other than Millie crying, it is quiter than usual here.) Take care, dear friend, and God bless!
