Dear Bart Simpson And Sons~

I suppose you have been wondering why I haven't written to you in so long. Well. part of the reason is because I work full-time and have this village LOL to raise. I now have fifty-three children; we added two girls and a boy from Sri Lanka and Romania to our family. Arjun and Rani came almost one year ago from Sri Lanka, and Janica, our Romanian beauty, came in August. We have enjoyed having them in our lives emmensely. They are all such delightful children, and we couldn't be any happier than we are right now! :)

I do hope that yoou haven't thought that I forgotten you because I HAVEN'T. I certainly hope that this finds you in better spirits. I know it is hard when a loved one dies; I know of the shock/anger/denial/acceptance/recovery of which you speak; I have been down that sad road of life several times myself. But I am always comforted by the fact that they are now with Jesus, up in Heaven, and that they are no longer suffering; that always brings me a sense of peace. Sure, I still get sad whenever their special days approach (or the anniversaries of their passing or on holidays like Thanksgiving or Christmas), but I have come to terms with their deaths, and they all still live on in my  heart. I know it was their time to go, and one day we will be reunited; oh, what a GLORIOUS day THAT will be! :)

Are you still working, Bart? How are Kenny, Jack, and Zebediah doing? I bet they are all getting BIG! (By the by, thanks for the Christmas card you sent around the holidays. I hope you got mine; I sent a picture of the kiddies to you! :) ) Give your little guys (((HUGS))) and tell them that I say hello! I certainly hope that you are all okay! :)

I have heard that y'all have had a lot of snow this winter up there in Mansfield, Ohio. Well, it is snowing here in Nashville, Tennessee; it was cloudy when I awoke this morning; but now, fat, fluffy flakes are coming down, and it is absolutely BREATHTAKING! We could get upwards of 3 INCHES of snow; I know the kids will probably be making a snowman or two when they get home from school this afternoon! :) The children are all well, as I said, but Arjun, the youngest, is sick with a bad cough and a runny nose. I will have to keep an extra close eye on him, to make sure it doesn't develop into something more serious. I will let you know what transpires. The others are bursting with health, and I pray that this continues. There's nothing worse to a mama than having a houseful of sick, crying kids!

So much has happened, but I will have wait until next time to tell you. It seems that Arjun is crying, and it sounds like he is having trouble with his breathing. I will write more later, so I can tend to my little boy. Take care, and God bless you always! Write when you can, Bart!
