Dear Journal~

Hey! This is your favorite gal  pal writing! How's tricks? *giggle*

I am still doing well; life is indeed good for me now. I hardly have had any pain since my surgery on my hips, and I am getting around SO much better! It is SOOO nice NOT to be arguing with two crutches hangin' off my arms and risking the possibility of  tripping myself. I now use two canes, and I am getting FAST on them! My breathing hasn't bothered me ONE bit since I got taken off oxygen therapy, and I have been able to sleep all night long without getting any air hunger! :)

I have been watching the "American Idol" auditions, and last night found Paula (Abdul), Randy ("Dog" Jackson), and the Infamous Simon (Cowell) in Boston, Massachussetts. There were some good singers, but the majority of them were just. plain. AWFUL!! I don't know what some of these people were THINKING when they auditioned! I had to leave the room during some of the singing; it was too painful for my ears! OWWWW! LOL Even maman's DOG started howling, and my cat started hissing, which cracked me up. Even ANIMALS know when someone can sing or not! LOL It was a SCRRRRRRRRREAM!! LOL

I have a bit of sad news. My baby brother (Arjun) is in the hospital. He is a very sick little boy. He had been having a runny nose and some bad coughing, and the other day, he started having problems with his breathing, which prompted maman to call for the paramedics. He is now in the PICU, where he is on s ventilator. He has respiratory syncytial virus, which strikes babies under the age of two, especially if they have heart or lung disease, have school-aged brothers or sisters at home, is exposed to cigarette smoke, or were born premature (like I was). I know of this disease because I had it a time or two when I was little, according to maman, and I was in the hospital until I healed.

He is doing SOMEWHAT better, but he is still plenty enogh sick, and it may be a week before he is well enough to be released. Hopefully, he will be taken off the ventilator today; the docs said yesterday that he could be because his oxygen level numbers had improved a lot. I hope so. Ventilators are NOT fun!! UCK, UCK, UCK! LOL

I hope Arjun comes home; I really miss him. He is so full of life, and when he laughs, it rings thorughout the house.  People are charmed by his happy nature. He hardly lets anything bother him, and it is so cute to watch him discovring life about him. I will be so happy when he finally gets the green light to come home from the hospital; then we can SPOIL him ROTTEN! LOL

I heard from Kendra Williams today (well, MAMAN did!), and life is good for her, too. She said that they have a new little boy whose name is Evan, and he is ADORABLE! He is soooo cute! (But aren't ALL babies?? *grins*) The girls are loving it, and they are spoiling him ROTTEN! LOL She (Kendra) also said that Rachel Cohen, my friend from Cali, is seeing specialists, to see if anything can be done to help her, and she even danced in "Swan Lake", which is a big deal in the ballet world; and she did a super job. Kendra also said that Rebekksh snet Johnny a package becaus she is in LOOOOOOOVE with him! LOL Imagine that! My brother has a GIRLFRIEND! LOL This is too rich! LOL I wonder if JOHNNY knows about that! LOL

Well, dear Journal, I am going to go now; it will be time for me to go to the bus stop, so I don't miss the bus. THAT would not be good!... Take care, Journal, and C YA LATER! 'BYE!!
