Dear Louisiana in Tennssee~
It was so good to hear from you today. Thank you so much for writing! Your letter was entertaining, and I am still smiling as I read about the "Olympic competition" your kids were having! I am glad you got snow up there in Nashville; snow and kids sure seem to go hand in hand, doesn't it?
I am glad that Arjun, your youngest, is feeling better. It is always so hard when a child you love is sick or in the hospital. My youngest, Nigel, has asthma, and winter time is especially hard on him. There is NO telling what may send his lungs into spasms. I always worry so much about him when it gets cold! I thought I was going to have to call for an ambulance on his part, but the cold weather helped him when I took him outside! I was never so scared; whenever I hear that barking breathing, I get so nervous!!
I had to laugh too, when I raad about Anh performing that aerial stunt, but don't you mean SKIS?? You make it sound like he has one leg! LOL He sounds like a true daredevil! LOL
It IS sad that America's Michelle Kwan may have to bow out of the figure skating competitino. But I can understand her difficult situation. She isn't at her bsst, healthwise, and it would only hamper the team's chances for a gold medal if Kimberly Weissner or Sasha Cohen don't get it. I feel sorry for her, too. She has two medals in her Olympic career (silver, bronze), but not the elusive gold. I hope she can pull it off, but again, as I said, she isn't in that best of shape (past injuries flaring up), so that may jeopardize her chances for a gold medal.
Speaking of medals, I heard that a guy from Texas just won GOLD for the U.S.A. in speed skating! The guy is from TEXAS!! LOL How wonderful! We finally got a medal, and we have struck GOLD!! WHEEE! I am watching the Olympics now as I write this while Doug kidsits, trying to keep the boys out of mischief; you know how THAT can go! LOL I haven't really heard a peep out of them, so they must be minding their daddy, which is ALWAYS a good thing! LOL
Here, the weather is sunny but cold. It is supposed to warm up by next weekend, with temps in the 70's to NEAR 80! CRAZZZZZY weather we are having here! It's no wonder little Nigel has had so many problems with his breathing lately!
Well, dear friend, I will go for now. I will be expecting a repsonse in the next day or so. Take care, and tell your Little Olympic competitors to be CAREFUL! LOL God bless, and have a nice day!
