Hello there! Thank you ever so mcuh for writing! It was quite a shock to get your letter last night in my email in-box; it was super to hear from you again!
I am so glad that you want to be my friend. I do want to be yours. I miss your simplistic, interesting letters, and above all, I miss your friendship! You are a little shy, but that is fine. That is how you are, and I was only trying to bring you out of your shell. If I seemed to be loud, overbearing, or pushy about my faith, I can duly understand why you were angry or upset with me. Again, I am very sorry if I pushed you away. Please forgive me???
We are all doing well, but my youngest, Arjun, just got out of the hospital a few days ago, and he is still recovering from his recent illness (he had RSV), and it will be a little while before he is back to his normal, curious self. He is on oxygen, and he is on medicine to help his lungs which were weakened by his illness, but soon, he should be okay (we HOPE!). He had a lot of difficulty breathing, and it scared us, but now he is back home, where he belongs, and we are all glad that he IS. The other kids have managed to stay well (Miracle of Miracles!), nad other than Arjun becoming sick a week and a half ago, we haven't had to call for the paramedics AT all. We have had a very easy winter! :) I pray and hope that this continues!
I am glad that you aren't letting your MS slow you down, but isn't it a little tricky trying to navagate the ice and snow on crutches?? You just be careful; I do NOT want to hear of you breaking something! I am glad that you are still living an active and full life even with MS. I have had to do this myself with my arthritis and with my back problems (my back problems are a thing of the past; I can now do things that were difficult for me when I had all my back troubles; since the surgery, I am like a totally different person, and it is absolutely WONDERFUL!!). I also was paralyzed for a time and had to use crutches myself for walking, but I learned how to walk all over again, and I am now one of the fastest things on two feet! LOL I could probably race a cheetah--and WIN! (NOT really, but I AM fast! LOL)
Sikik, I DO have one question though, before I go on: WHY do you call non-Inuit people "Dog Children"? What is the significance behind the term? What do you Inuit call yourselves? I am not trying to be nosy; I am just very curious! Is it because we stink? Do we "non-Inuit" have a pecular odor that you find offensive? Are we "ugly" to you? I just was wondering was all. I think it is all very interesting, but I don't think I am a dog! LOL
Now with the qusstions out of the way, let's gat back to it. This letter, I mean. *grins*
Sikik, did you know that we are coming to Alaska in October? It's true ! The ENTIRE family is coming! We are going on a free two-week cruise given to me at work by my superiors, and maybe we will see you if you come down to Anchorage like you did last time when we met at that mall. That would be so great to see you again! It's been a very long while, and I miss your smile and your laughter! So do my kids and my husband; we ALL like you, and we ALL want to be a friend to you! Johnny STILL asks about you, and he will NEVER forget his trip to Alaska to stay with you! Although your culture is different than what he is used to, he sill had a marvelous time, and you gave him memories that will last him the rest of his life!
Well, I have to leave to go to work (I start at six; I leave by five-thirty if I am to get there on time, depending on traffic), so I will shut 'er down. I will be waiting for your reply. Do take care of yourself, Sikik, and write anytime you wish. I may not get back to you right away, due to the constant flow of letters to my e-mail box, but I WILL get back to you! That is a guaranteed PROMISE!
