Ronee', who is having some trouble sleeping, writes in her journal while her sisters sleep.

Dear Journal~
I can't sleep. I didn't sleep too good last night: I kept waking up every hour, it seemed. My body is hurting (Uncle Arthur and his twin brother, Itis, are paying my body a visit! *OW*). My ankles, my elbows, my hands, my fingers, my shoulders, and my back are all barking at me, and I just have to wait until maman gets up to get me my medication because she's the one who keeps it. ARRRGGH!! I guess I get to lie here in misery until we get up later this morning.
This journal isn't going to be long, not like past entries. I am just tired of hurting. Now, my knees and hips are no longer an issue; however, I have JRA, and I have to put up with pain. I wish they could take my head off and put it on someone else's body; I have had enough of this stupid JRA!! Grrr! It's nothing but a big pain in the you know where!!
Well, the U.S. women's hockey team lost in the game next to the gold medal round, so I am bummed out about that. It seems that yesterday wasn't too good of a day for U.S. athletes. Either they failed to medal, or else other countries (RUSSIA, for one!) proved to be too strong for the U.S. athletes to handle. I have been watching some of the Olympics, but not much.
I DO like the Olympics, don't get me wrong; but I like figure skating the best, and I also like the freestyle skiing. It's all this other stuff (snowboarding, speedskating, curling, hockey, etc.) that's boring to me! LOL I also like the downhill skiing, but to tell you the truth, when that U.S. athlete fell (and a few days later, came back and competed), just seeing that fall she did made ME hurt. I was like *OW, OW, OW* LOL She took a baaaaaaaad fall!! Landed right on her hip, too! *OWWW* Don't you know she had a pretty bruise on her hip (not to mention, a sore, stiff body)! She probably felt like the Tin Man on a bad day! LOL
School is still going well. You remember when I mentioned those tests I was to have on Valentine's Day in Spanish and in French? I aced both of 'em; no need to have worried like I did! LOL I don't know why I put myself under such stress when it comes to tests: school has always been easy for me, but I still hate Math! I hate taking math tests more than anything, and Math is always my worst subject! (Last report card, I got a B in Math; all my other classes were A's!) I was a bit disappointed; but at least I didn't fail or get anything lower! Then there would have been some high-class drama! LOL
My sisters Camey and Tammi both got new jobs. They will be working at Fire Mountain, and maman is all happy about it. (I am too; I love Fire Mountain! YUMMMM!! That Polish sausage they have there is to DIE for!! YUMMM!!) Camey is going to be doing the silverware and Tammi is going to be a server. I wouldn't mind working there myself if I was a little older: I wouldn't mind wrapping silverware; seems like an easy way to make money! *grins* I bet once I got the hang of it I'd be fast, fast, fast at it! :) I'd be like a cheetah!! :)
The snwo we had is about melted; you can see the raods again, and you can see patches of brown and yucky dirt. Winter IS pretty, especially when the snow is pristine and fresh; however, it can be ugly too (the snow by the road turns brown or even black), and you can track mud and whatnot into the house when you go in. Maman then usually gets mad for messin' up her nice, clean floor. (Seems that whenever we track in stuff on our shoes, it's on the days maman does the floors! ARRRGGH!! It NEVER fails!!)
Well, I am going to TRY to get back to sleep--that is, IF my body will let me. I am getting verrrrrrrrrry sleepy all of a sudden! On THAT note, good night, sweetheart! C ya! *yawning hugely*
(((HUGS))) and love, your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne. :0
A beautiful picture!! And, of course an excellent write. Please do something that Ronnee will feel better, the poor thing.
Lots of love and hugs, Birgit and Roger
