Dear Jenna Aurora~
I am so sorry for not writing back to your last several letters. Please DO forgive me for my delay!
I trust this finds you (and Michael) well. I hope that your pregnancy is progressing well; my goodness, you should be showing by now! I pray and hope that whatever you have that it is born healthy; if not, I hope that you still choose to love your child!
Are you working any? Or are you still just getting disability every month? Has there been any overall improvment in your physical condition? Is Michael still working lots of hours? How is HE doing? How are the two of you getting along? I hope all is good between you two!
We are doing okay. Ronee' fainted yesterday at her doctor's office (that time of month, you know), and Bill recently fell on the ice and hurt his back, but other than that, not much drama in our world, thank goodness. Johnny has his appointment with his MD doctor at the MDA clinic; hopefully he will have a good report there. I always worry at these appointments for him because MD is such a fickle, unpredictable disease, and I am still scared to death of losing him! I don't know what I would do if he were to get worse or die; that would absolutely shatter me! :(
Speaking of Johnny, he has a girlfriend. A little girl in California has fallen in love with him, and she sends him things in the mail and writes to him. Johnny laughs it off, but he does enjoy the attention that Rebekkah has been heaping on him. *sighhh* A sure sign that my baby boy is growing up---(paredon me while mama wipes her eyes...LOL)
My twin teenaged daughters, Camey and Tammi, are working now: both are working at Fire Mountain, which is a huge buffet-style family restaurant that opened several months back, and they have outstanding food. Camey is rolling silverware for them, and Tammi is a server. Both love their new job very much. They started there a few weeks ago, and they have settled comfortably into their new routine. I hope all goes well for the girls! :)
My duaghter, Dwerlina (she is going to college in Louisiana, at Louisiana Stae University-Lafayette, my old stompin' grounds) is engaged to a wonderful Cajun boy named Andre', and they will have a wedding sometime this summer (in Louisiana, of course).
My oldest daughter, Lightning, may be pregnant again; she has been throwing up most mornings, according to her husband (my son-in-law). She already has five children, four boys and a girl!
My friend M'Buti Ayala Moore-Sormiento, is also expecting: she has been having morning sickness too and has been having a rough time. She has six kids now, five boys and a girl ranging in age from a year on up to eight-and-a-half! (Hmmm--I am just wondering what she will be having this time: she already has one child from her first pregnancy, twins from her second, and triplets from her last! Wonder if she is going to have QUADS this time! YIKES! LOL This will prove to be very interesting once M'Buti's pregnancy progresses! :) )
In addition, my friend in Finland, Sari Annike Constantinos, is pregnant with HER first child, and she just got OVER the morning sickness blues. So there is a LOT of babies to be born in my world! YIKES! LOL (Just as long as it isn't ME who is expecting; I don't know if I could handle being pregnant again; it's been so long ago! LOL)
My son, Anh, is going to be going to college in California; he wants to go into the ministry and become an evangelist. He has already applied, and we have since found out that he has been accepted. A proud day, indeed, for Mama and Daddy Sandusky! :) He will be going this fall; he will be leaving for California in August sometime. Another Sandusky child soon to be spreading his wings...*sighhhhhhhhhh*
My youngest is now walking and talking up a storm; little Arjun is continuously discovering new realms in his world, and his excitability and newfound joy is absolutely delightful! Arjun WAS in the hospital recently with RSV, but he is about recovered now, thank goodness. He just completed his regimen of antibiotics, and he is on oxygen (but should be coming off of it soon; we will find out the next time he sees Dr. Emmons if he does).
I have written another book, a children's book about special-needs adoption. (My story, but tailored to the needs of kids ages 4-8.) I just found out that my manuscript was approved, so I will have another book under my belt somtime in the coming year or later on this year. It is all so exciting! I also sent some stories to Exceptional Parent Magazine, Special Child Magazine, and Adoptive Families Magazine. Hopefully one (or all) could use some of my stories! :) Pray my articles get published! :)
So you are going to church now. That's wonderful, Jenna! I hope you are getitng a lot out of it! Church has always been a blessing for me and my family; I just canNOT imagine my world without it! :)
Well, this is about all that is new here. I do hope that you will write back to me soon. I miss your letters, and again, if I have said or done anything harsh or unkind to you in the past, please do forgive me. I forgive you for past anger or hurts, and I hope you wil do the same for me. I want to start being a friend to you again, and I miss you so much! Take care, Jenna, and God bless you and your husband always! Write back when you can; I'll be waiting for your letter---

P.S.: Oh! Meant to tell you--we are coming to Alaska in October, ALL of us! We are going on a cruise for two weeks! Bill and I are also thinking of taking a cruise in June, to celebrate our fifteenth wedding anniversary, to Cozumel, Mexico! We just contacted Carnival Cruise Lines, and if the deal is right, we will book our cruise for Cozumel! So we will be on the "high seas" to adventure and FUN! :) (By the way, the cruise to Mexico is just for US, NOT the kiddies. :) Ahhh, we could USE a break from the zoo! LOL)

Usual top-quality slab of life. But this one raises strange questions in my mind: Fainting at the doctor's offoce because it's that time of month? I didn't know there was a time of month for fainting. Boy, this has been so educational! And you actually have a kid called "Lightning"? Then why aren't the others "Thunder" and "Rain". I'm sorry, I know these are silly questions considering the more serious issues in the letter--that's just how my mind works:)
