Dear Journal~
I am sitting here, relaxin' and maxin' in my room. My Maine Coon cat, "Cajun", and mama's little Pomeranian dog, "Cajun Gold", are sitting on my bed, looking at me as I type on my laptop. They both look absolutely adorable, and I can't help BUT to smile!
I had a nice day today; I watched some of my DVDs and listened to some of my CD's. I also wrote to my friend Kenya (e-mailed her), and I started the book I got at the library the other day ("Shoo-Fly Girl" by Lois Lenski, which is about a little Amish girl in Pennsylvania and her family; so far, it is very interesting). I also practiced my music as I always do for an hour each day. (Today I practiced some new Cajun songs on my Cajun accordion; I am trying to teach myself some new songs, to add to my repertoire.)
I had a doctor's appointment the other day. I did okay, but I fainted. I was so embarrassed! I have started my period, and the cramps were so bad I got dizzy, and the lights went out! I am okay now, thank goodness. I NEVER had cramps that bad before; they were the WORST I had EVER experienced! WOUCH! If anything, I sure caused some excitement. One minute, he was looking at my eyes, and the next, he was patting my face, and waving smelling salts under my nose, asking me if I was okay!
Johnny, my brother, had HIS doctor's appointment yesterday, and he did a lot better than me. At least HE didn't faint! LOL He went to see his muscular dystrophy doctor at the muscular dystrophy clinic, and miracle of miracles, his disease has NOT gotten any worse! He isn't doing better, but then again, he ISN'T doing worse either, so that is the best news of all! :) I am so happy for him! God has really been good to my brother, Johnny! :)
Guess what! My oldest sister, Lightning, is pregnant with her sixth child, and my friend M'Buti Moore-Sormiento, is also pregnant with HER SEVENTH child. Mom's friend in Finland, Sari Constantinos, is also expecting; this will be her first child. Another friend in Alaska, Jenna Aurora Doucet, is pregnant as well; this is her first child, too. I hope they have no problems during the course of their pregnancies, and I hope that their babies are born healthy! :)
I still haven't talked to Nicole Aldape. Oh, I see her in class, but she doesn't even glance my way. It really bothers me. I wonder why she has broken our friendship like she did. I wonder if it is because of ME. I wonder what I could have done that was so bad to wreck our friendship! I miss her, and I miss talking with her or just hanging around with her. At least, with Nicole, I don't feel so alone. I have this darned old JRA, and Nicole has it too, and we both have leaned on one another during hard times, like when her daddy died several years back on Easter Sunday. He was killed while on the way home from church by a drunken driver; it was very sad, and I was there for her.
Now I am hanging around with Kenya, and she is very nice. She lives a few streets up from me, on the other side where Nicole lives; she and I usually sit next to each other on the bus to and from school, and she is very patient with me when I am moving slower than normal, which I really appreciate. She knows I have trouble getting around, so she tries to help me. I also have my other friend, Alisha'a O., who is very nice, and I guess she is my best friend because she and I do a lot of things together, just like Nicole and I used to do. Alisha'a lives right next door to Kenya, and they have known each other since they were practically babies.
Maman is going to have her fourth book out sometime later this year or early next year. She did a children's book about international adoption, and she wrote about our family. I would love to read it once it comes out! This is going to be her fourth book, and she is really excited about it! I hope it does well! :)
Guess what. Daddy fell about two weeks ago, and he hurt his back. He is doing a lot better than he was, but he is still a little stiff and sore. He is now off work while he recovers from his fall. He is very fortunate; he could have broken something, or ended up badly hurt. I just thank GOD he wasn't! :)
Well, I am going to go now. I am going to take "Cajun Gold" outside to go potty. She is acting like she has to go to the bathroom, and I DON'T want her to make a mess in my room! That'd be too gross! YUCK!
Take care, and C ya later! Bye for now!

An inspirational book about a unique world where trees hold intrinsic knowledge and powerful forces of energy. The group of students called the Planeteers demonstrate character building and not judge people base on their appearance, but judge them on
