Dear Louie~

Thank you for your package today; it arrived in the mail, and I must say that I will enjoy the new readin' material y'all sent! That was so sweet of you! Are you SURE that you don't want me to pay for the books? I'd most gladly do so, at least for the cost of shipping and handling! You sure are a beautiful woman, and your family is beautiful, too! My, what a mini United-Nations you have there among your many children! :) I just can't imagine parenting THAT many children at one time! WOW!

I am sorry that your daughter, Ronee' (my, what a BEAUTIFUL name!), fainted at the doctor's office! I hope it wasn't because of anything serious! I hope she is feeling better! As for your son, I am sorry that he is getting worse, in relation to his muscular dystrophy, but he sounds like a personable young man with a lot of courage and heart! Speaking of muscular dystrophy, remember that little boy who was the poet, Mattie something-or-other? Well, he has a new book out, and I saw it at Wal*Mart here. I didn't get a copy of it  yet, but I may do so down the road. Wal*Mart sells books at a reasonable price! :) I just don't know how you can cope with children who are so sick or so disabled; you must have the patience of JOB! LOL

I am glad that you and your husband are going on a cruise to Mexico as well as the cruise to Alaska! My, it must be nice to be able to travel like that! I am lucky if I get ONE vacation a YEAR!! I hope you both have a wonderful cruise when you go to Mexico AND to Alaska! :)

The weather here is rainy, but it is expected to clear out later. We may see some auroral activity here sometime in the coming week. If you would like I will mail some pictures of the auroras out here; seems that you enjoy them very much. I am glad that you get to see the auroras sometimes when they come to your area; that must be such a thrill for you guys! :)

Well, now. So the top authors get rejected, too. Hmmm. Food for thought. Now all of a sudden I don't feel so stressed about trying to get a book done; I am glad I am not the ONLY one who worries about whether my story is going to get rejected or not! I guess it is something that ALL authors, amateur AND professional, have to go through! Thanks for the encouragement; I just may go ahead and DO a story/book about my family! :)

Well, I am going to go now; am doing laundry, and I have to take the clothes out before they wrinkle. The dryer just buzzed. I will write again soon; take care, and thanks again for the books and for your letter! It is always good to hear from you again! God bless!
